5. Engagement

"Why are you always late? I was waiting for you all dressed up from about half an hour."Shreya complained.
"Well Hi to you too" Aman said smiling making her more angry she already was. He loved teasing her. On his mom's order he was taking Shreya along with him to his best friend, Nikita's engagement with Tushar. He was coming straight from there. He was late because he was with Nikita. She was little scared for taking such a big step in her life.
She loved Tushar,she was sure but she was still scared. Yeah that's normal.

They were about to leave but Shreya stopped looking at a Bruno who came waving his tail towards them."Meet Bruno" Shreya said passing her hand on her dog's head.
"I am sorry but I am not that fond of dogs"Aman said smiling sarcastically. It was a week since they meet and shared a frenemy type of relationship.
"How cou.."she started but he cut her off."Now you will say how could you not love him. He is so cute..but miss Shreya we are getting late. Let's go"Aman said I'm single breath.
Shreya just rolled her eyes at him.

They reached the venue. Tushar and Nikita were standing holding hands and smiling at each other. It was like dream come true for them. Shreya and Aman walked to them smiling.
"Niki, Tushar..she is Shreya I told you about"Aman said introducing her to them. Shreya smiled at them and the shook hands with them.

"So you are the one whom Aman's mom choosed for him"Nikita said in a teasing tone.
"Actually I choosed her and now I am regretting" Aman said mockingly and Shreya hit his chest with her elbow.
Everyone laughed.

Aman was sitting with Shreya then suddenly he saw someone and all the colors drained from his face. He losened his tie as he was finding it little to breath there. Memories from past came in front of his eyes.
"They look lovely together. Its so good to marry someone whom you love"Shreya said admiring Nikita and Tushar. Aman was silent from few minutes so she looked at him. He became more uneasy and excused himself from there.

Shreya looked at him walking away and suspected that something was surely wrong with him. She followed him. He was sitting inside his car and was about to start the engine when Shreeya knocked the window. He looked so sad and angry.
"What's wrong?"she asked concern. He was not sure if he should tell her or not. But he trusted her."I just saw my ex with some other guy.. Um..she cheated on me"He said sadly.

She smirked. "Don't you think we should say Hi to Her"she asked raising her eyebrows. He shook his head in a no but she dragged him there.
As soon as Alisha looked at Aman,she hugged her boyfriend just to see if Aman is still jealous.
"Hello Aman"she said smiling.
Aman smiled awkwardly. Alisha's smiled dropped as soon as she saw Shreya.
"Baby, who is she?"shereya said holding his arm shocking Aman "She is a friend..just a friend "Aman said smiling at Shreya.

"So you moved on"Alisha said raising her eyebrows and checked out Shreya from top to bottom.
"Yes and I love her the most..more than anything and anyone"Aman said and Shreya hugged him. Shocking was an understatement to tell Alisha's expressions. She never thought Aman will be this happy after she ruined all his happiness
Aman and Shreya excused them from there and went to a corner to laugh hard.

Nikita's father made an announcement and caught everyone's attention on the stage. Nikita and Tushar put rings on each other's fingers and promised to be together till death separates them. They hugged each other making everyone there Awww.
