Chapter 8

Yezun's voice came as honest as his expression "Growing up I had always fantasized about you in a sexual way, maybe you don't seem to remember but I never for once forgot about you. You are my first love and the last"

Yezun added as tears didn't stop coming down his warm pink cheeks, "In high school, on some occasions,  my friends brought girls and we all go to hung out but sadly that was the extent of it. I couldn't bring one girl to a hotel and have sex with her, nor even a boy as much as I tried I was always devoted to you"

"After graduation I was able to finally admit I was gay after hiding this for years. I made some gay friends and was slowly was introduced to the gay world but I never dated seriously or had a serious relationship not even a playful one. As long as I remember, I never loved a man beside of you, it's then I decided to search for you"

"I couldn't finish my master degree as I put my studies on hold just to find you and luckly I did. I decided to follow you around and get closer to you hoping you will recognise me and be my friend, I never had hoped that you would return my feelings certainly after I learnt you have a wife and a kid" 

"You even rejected me before I could confess to you, so cruel. My brief hapinesse was just watching you smile to me but loving me back will forever remain an unfulfilled dream. That's all I have to say, I hope you just ignore all of it once we are apart"

"I want you to understand that what I said on that day was not on a whim but I meant it, to come and find you" Yezun explained, tears were speeding from his eyes as these words left his mouth. In all honesty Xin Ci was the least surprised that he came to remember now what happened at his brother funeral. 

He didn't care about the past "The past should remain in the past, I have no trust in people anymore" He thought to himself. 

A flash back,

Instead of feeling relieved, Li Yang actually felt sad that her twin are being dragged all the way to that far village to pay respects to an unknown person. She was sulking all the way while being dragged with them to attend the funeral of the grandchild of her father's best friend. Her nagging all the way to the far village couldn't be unnoticed by the young boys.

Shen Wei sighed "What's up mother?"

"I don't like these people, they are no match for us, they come from a very low society and your grandpa keeps them close to him to ruin our reputation" Li Yang seemed frustrated as these words left her lips. She had been disappointed about her father choices so this should faze her.

Shen Wei asked suspiciously "What's the difference between the poor and us mother?"

She painted a cunning smile before she sarcastically answered "They are greedy and selfish, they are thieves and as much as they take they are always hungry. They represent the cruel and ugly side of the world. But, we, are very nobel and well educated unlike them who lacks knowledge and live like savages. The poor needs our help but rather than asking nicely they like to take that forcefully and steal it. They are wild and aggressive"

Shen Wei somehow was not convinced by her words and murmured to himself "One day I will prove her wrong"

Yezun was listening carefully to his cold-hearted mother "You just proved the contrary, aren't we the big thief's mother when we own everything, we are taking their rights, aren't we the selfish ones?"

Li Yang "Shut up you idiot, you must obey and be wise like Shen Wei" Before she could add, the car stopped and Shen Wei and his mom refused to come out.

They were shocked to see what kind of place this was. Peeling paint on houses, messy yards with dead grass and garbage strewn about, broken appliances and cars, missing doors, bars on windows. People were out of work and sitting around drinking. Teenagers gathered in like gangs. They were worriedly looking at the sad faces of people, even miserable, and uncaring about the neighbors or town.
