Jeon Jungkook.

the name itself brings shivers down people's spine as he was Korea's most powerful business leaders. Ceo of Jeon Corporations.

Kim Taehyung.

the loyal secretary that was always by the cold-hearted male's side for the past 5 years. the male has gotten through many obstacles and perfected his actions and be the first secretary to meet Jeon's expectations.

most people, regardless of age or gender, wouldn't last a week with the cold-hearted male. Jungkook was very strict and organized, so one mistake was very difficult to get through.

unless you're Kim Taehyung. throughout the years, Kim Taehyung has gained a soft spot in Jungkook's heart. however, both were unaware of this until today. Kim Taehyung had something to say that shocked everyone in the building.

currently, the two males were in a car ride after leaving an important meeting. "y' know Mr. Jeon, you should start finding a new secretary..."

the young CEO was beyond confused, as he turned towards the elder with a lifted brow. "now why would i do that? i have the perfect one right now."

the elder subtly blushed at the comment but brushed it off. "well..."

"well?"

"im...im resigning as your secretary"

Jungkook was in his office staring at his open computer screen, but not paying attention.

instead, he was thinking over the reasons why his perfect secretary would spontaneously quit. he was never told why and was only told it was for personal matters.

is it because i'm too strict? maybe because he simply doesn't like working here...but he worked for 5 years already...could it be he...

no. he couldn't have...

did he...find someone?

his thoughts were interrupted when someone had knocked on his door and it was no other than Secretary Kim. "Come in."

the elder walked towards the CEO with a file in hand. the file was handed and Jungkook wasn't happy with its title.

"I'm sure everything will be perfectly fine during my absence here" Taehyung comments as he looked down.

"how could you be so sure about something when you're leaving?" Jungkook replied coldly with a raised brow.

ouch... Taehyung thought

"are you sure you want to quit as my secretary?" Jungkook questioned as he felt those words come out like it wasn't supposed to be said to him.

Taehyung hesitantly nodded and replied with a yes and bow. "i am sure of my choice of quitting, I'm sure you can find someone exceptionally better than me in no time."

with those words, Jungkook's eyes darkened and crumpled the edge of the file paper. "no. your wrong."

Jungkook stood up startling Taehyung and walked around the desk. Taehyung deeply gulped and looked down at the floor as he heard footsteps coming closer.
