This asshole better not have been there the whole time.

I turned around and pulled down my shirt. "Thanks. I'm glad someone appreciates them besides myself. They were pretty expensive. Were you there the whole time?"

He looked down at the floor and stood straight up and walked towards me. Uncrossing his arms, he stuffed his hand in his pockets and looked back up to me and smiled taking two more steps closer.

I can't take this. Like, mentally, I Can Not. He is making my brain go mush and my knees weak. This smile is damn near melting my heart.
And he put his hands in his pockets making him look so innocent and boyish. I'm dying here. Someone Help Me Here!

"Maybe.." He brought me out of my thoughts.

"Maybe? So let me get this straight. You saw me struggling and you didn't help?"

" It was cute watching you reach for something that you was never going to be able to get."

I kinda was conflicted between being insulted or complimented, I went with the first one.

"Are you testing me Mr. Carson?" I narrowed my eyes. " I'm trying my best not to swear at you but you're testing me plus you calling me short." I start circling around him. "Haven't anyone told you not to mess with short people? We will gang up on you and haunted you in your sleep."

He laughed. "Are you about attack me because I didn't help you reach some paper?" He questioned then reached for me.

" No. No. No." I held out my hands, barely touching his chest. " Don't get any closer. If you and your 'Man Fumes' come any closer they are gonna fuck with my head and I won't be able to function."

....

My eyes widened. I can't believe I said that out loud.

" Oh My Goodness!" I covered my face in my hands. When will my mouth grow a filter?
"I'm sorry." I smiled awkwardly.

He smirked.

Now I bet he is cocky and thinks I'm feeling some way towards him which is totally false. I'm just not blind and whatever cologne he is wearing is making him even more desirable. Ugh. I sound like a gushy teen.

"Ms. Sullivan." I look up to him with apologetic eyes and the same awkward smile. "Here you go." He reaches over my head to get the box of paper. At this point I'm convinced he is doing this on purpose. I told him not to get closer for a reason. He smells so good and I'm not trying to be weird and start sniffing him. I already raised his confidence level two notches.
He hands me the stack of paper.

"Thanks." I take the box and started to load the machine with paper until he stopped me.

"Wait I got it." He took the the paper from my hands loaded the machine and reset the machine. The machine started spitting my copies.

"Thank you again." I took my papers for the machine.

"Don't mention it. I was just helping a short person avoid her 'daily struggles' I wouldn't want to be hunted I'm my sleep." He smirked

I rolled my eyes. "Are you getting smart with me, Mr.Carson."

"Well Ms.Sullivan, I would be extremely unlikely that I was getting dumb with you since I am highly educated." He fixed his tie. "So I would answer yes."

I smirked a raised a brow in shock. "Whoa. You have come backs too? Impressive."
I walked to his office and He followed. I started putting up the papers. "Where are we going for lunch?" I turned around to face him but he looked like he was somewhere else mentally. "Mr.Carson"
