Reincarnated as a Oni

Chapter 2

(y/n)'s P.O.V!

I had been living with Miku for a while and I had taken to being a big brother pretty quickly. I had learnt a lot about this world. I learnt there were a few races that were the top in this world. I am an Oni and Oni's were the second strongest on the world second to humans. I had healed up fully and explored around us. I learnt that we were in a destroyed village and I found scrolls that taught magic, martial arts  and how to use weapons. I took as many as I could and began learning magic. I learnt I was very skilled at fire magic and dark magic. I could use lightning and summoning magic as secondary. I found what was considered a cursed mask that was sealed away. I decided to keep it but I never wore it. I was able to find some Samurai looking lower armor and other types of cloths that fit me. I also learned that the marks on my chest would glow and burn away any shirt that covered my upper body fully. I could cover my arms so I did.

Miku began joining me in learning magic and I was lucky this world had the same writing and language as my world. Miku has good at magic that changed her status for example she could use a spell that would increase her speed or defiance. I tried teaching her a bit of martial arts but she wasn't really good at it so I focused on magic. 

We were sitting on a rock that had a beautiful view of a river. Miku was sitting on my lap sleeping when I heard a sound from a bush. I turned my head to the source and saw it was a rabbit. I tilted my head and it hopped over to us. I looked down at the sleeping Miku and smiled thinking of how she was so pure. I closed my eyes and felt a cold wind blow. Miku began shaking from the cold so I activated my mana and my surroundings heated up to a point were it felt like a warm fire. Miku began cuddling into my chest. I smiled and looked up at the sky noticing it was night time. I picked her up and looked around. I jumped up onto a tree branch and made my way to our house. I landed and in front of our house and looked down at the sleeping Miku. I walked in and put her down on the bed. I was about to stand up but I felt her grab my arm. I looked down and saw Miku was holding my arm. I smiled and heard her softly say "Please don't leave me?" I nodded and said "I won't go anywhere." I sat down next to her and fell asleep sitting there.
