Chapter three

My phone started ringing as I was getting something to eat.
My dad was calling me.
"Hey!" I answered.
"Hey honey. I was wondering if you'd like to come to dinner tonight. There's someone I want you to meet."
"Who?"
"I want it to be a surprise."
"Oh yeah sure. but what time?"
"Around 7 sound good?"
"Yeah sure. Well I'll see you later then."
"Bye ariana. see you then. love you."
I set down my phone and got something to eat then I started getting ready.
Ever since the divorce between my mother and him, things between us have been really awkward.
Who did he want me to meet? Hmm...
My outfit was black leggings, a sheer pink flowy shirt and pink heels.
Simple. I didn't know if I should get that dressed up considering I didn't know who this person was so yeah. I put my hair in my usual half up/half down ponytail. I know I get a lot of criticism about it. I feel comfortable when I wear it this way. So that's the way I'm going to wear it.
I did my make up. Got my phone and wallet. I told the boys I would be back later that I was having dinner with my father and left.

I got to the restaurant and they took my to the table. I saw my father and sitting quite close to him was a women. she had blond hair and was wearing a tight black dress. She wasn't very attractive. Average.
I saw her and thought 'oh no he has a new girlfriend!!'
I suddenly didn't want to be here alone when I met her so before my father or her saw me I ran into the restroom.
I took our my phone and dialed Jais number.
"Hello?"
"Hey babe. Would you mind coming to *insert fancy name of resturant* ?"
"Is everything okay?"
"Yeah we'll sort of. I have a feeling my dad wants me to meet his new girlfriend and I don't want to be alone when I do."
"Sure thing bae. be there in 5."
"Thank you !! I love you!"
"I love you more!! I win!!!"
"No I lo-" he hangs up and I know he hung up so I wouldn't say I loved him more.
Haha.
I sneak out to the front of the restaurant and wait for Jai.
I finally see him. And run over to him.
"C'mon hurry my dad has been waiting for a while !!"
We walk up to the table.
"Ariana!" My dad stands up and gives me a hug.
"Hi dad. I hope you don't mind I brought Jai along."
"Not at all." They shake hands and we all sit down.
"So Ariana this is who I wanted you to meet. Ariana this is marylin."
"Hi nice to meet you."
"Ari this is my fiancée."
Wait what? I was expecting girlfriend now fiancée.
"What!!??"
I yell.
"So you just didn't tell me that you had a girlfriend and decide to tell me after you get ingaged?!?!"
"We'll I thought you'd be happy."
"Happy you kept her from me?! Well I'm not. I just can't believe you.!!"
"Ari calm down."my father said.
"No! I've been forgiving you for everything else, but I can't anymore. Sorry but no. " I turn to Jai "let's go Jai." We leave the restaurant and get into Jais car.
"Well that was something." he says breaking the silence.
"Mhm."
"Let's get your mind off that." he cheers up "wanna go watch a movie?"
"Sure!! What movie?"
"Hm you choose."
"Let's watch if I stay I really want to watch it !!"
We got to the movie theaters and I forget about my dad.

"Omg they got to have a second movie with the way they finished it!!!" I was saying to Jai as we headed for the car.
