"We're only getting older, baby. I've been thinking about you lately. Does it ever drive you crazy, just how fast the night changes?"

Liam Payne

I changed into a pair of sweatpants and a muscle tank, still feeling the hyped vibe from today's show. Performing on stage never gets old, I always look forward to meeting the fans. Their support gives me what Niall calls "the happy feels".

"Great job everybody! You have ten minutes to freshen up, meet me at the back by the end of it. See you later, retards." The all-too-familiar voice shouted from outside the changing room door.

"Poor Zelle still doesn't dare to come into the changing room." Louis joked.

We all burst into laughter, except for Niall who hung his head in shame and blushed crimson red. Two weeks ago, after our show in New Jersey, Zelle had barged into our changing room only to witness Niall halfway changing into his briefs. Until now, Zelle is still too afraid of accidentally seeing any of our junk.

"It's surprising that she still hasn't quit her job here, huh?" Harry chimed in, teasing Niall.

Zelle was our tour manager, also my best friend of twenty one years. To the whole world, she was Miss Repunzelle Phillips; the woman that holds the envy of the whole One Direction fan base.

"That's not surprising with Liam still around. She won't ever leave while her sweetheart Liam is still around." Zayn spoke up.

"Very funny. Ha. Ha. Ha." I retorted, throwing a cushion at him.

To the the guys and I, Zelle's one of the closest person to us that keeps us sane. She makes us feel normal, as if One Direction never existed or we were never famous. She's our best friend.

To me, Zelle's my first and the best of any best friends that I have. Zelle's the one person that knows me and understands me very well, even better than do. She's the person I'm head over heels for, and everyone knows - Except her.

"Yeah, mate. When are you gonna ask her out? Your friendship with her has been for how long? 21 years or something?" Niall added.

"We're all getting older and love doesn't come easy so why waste it when it's right there?" Harry pointed out.

I would have laughed at how deep he was being but I could not bring myself to do it. A chorus of agreements came from the rest, causing me to raise an eyebrow at them. I hated how they knew how I felt about Zelle. Nowadays, I'd get deep in thought just thinking about Zelle and I was too pussy to do anything about it.

I fell for Repunzelle Phillips since last year and it's been bugging me since. Only this year, it's been driving me crazier to even think about it. My happy feels go insane and I'm quite sure that there is more than just happy feels to how I feel towards her.

Just as I was about to reply, a very unimpressed looking Zelle stormed into the room.

"You're all two minutes late. Butts out to the back right now or you're all sleeping on the couch when we get on the tour bus tomorrow." Zelle commanded.

We all froze up, no one daring to move as if Zelle would attack us if we go anywhere near the door.

"Oh my god, move now!" Zelle shouted, giving the scariest glare she could muster.

We scrambled to our feet, sprinting out towards the back without thinking twice. Sneaking a glance back, I deadpanned as I watched her get on a go-kart. It beats me to why they have go karts in the stadium but I could care any less.

A strong breeze hit us as Zelle zoomed past us and smirking to herself in victory.

"Hey! That's not fair!" Harry called out.

"It isn't to me. Catch up, losers!" Zelle replied, winking before she made a turn and disappeared from our sight.

The lads stood in awe, shocked from her sudden outburst. Taking the opportunity, I snagged a nearby go-kart and raced past them. I heard them curse at me before I heard more go-karts running behind me.

I smiled as I remembered such memories from over the years. It was as if these four years happened in a flash. It has definitely been the best and the craziest four years of my life. I heaved a sigh, weaving through boxes and making turns every now and then.

"If it isn't Mr. Payne. You need a little more originality, mister. Riding a go kart? I wonder whose brilliant idea was that?" Zelle remarked as I parked beside her go kart. The sarcasm laced in her voice was so evident that a blind man could gain sight and see it.

Lifting my head, I met her green eyes. They were like Harry's, except that hers would look brown sometimes. The same feeling in my chest goes wild, I look away and cover it up with a snort.

Oh, Repunzelle. Would you let me in your tower for me to steal your heart?

HI GUYS.
THIS IS MY NEW FANFICTION AND I REALLY INTEND TO CONTINUE THIS.
SO YEA.

Lily Collins plays as the face of Zelle. Yes, I know that Lily is 25 but we shall pretend that she is Liam's age. Okay? Okay.
