"When I was twelve, I met this woman. I told her my name was Arabella. It was a cover. But her name was Valentizina Alianovna. The best name in spy warfare."

The bleach blonde sat in the dimly lit room. The smell of metallic blood floated around the air as blood dropped down her fresh wound in her left arm, just below her shoulder on her muscle. She couldn't help but realise this was all wrong. She shouldn't be sat in this room. She should be out fighting. Doing her job. Shedding blood. But her gut, guilt instinct brought her here.

The seventeen year old's eyes were plastered down onto the table.

Katarina had done a lot of questionable things in the past, yet she'd never been more positive of what she was doing than now. It was time to pay the debt she owed to her.

"I assume you know some of the story. Nadia Alianovna rings a bell?"

The man furrowed his brows, nodding slowly.

"Her academy consisted of children she trained for fifteen years straight till the age of 18. Valentizina was one of the twenty. She was the best, went down in history. We heard her stories. Multiple times. We tried to live up to Miss Alianovna. But Valentizina Alianovna is a legend. Some folks believe that if you kill a legend, you'll become one too. That's why I took on the job at twelve to help have her killed. Nadia thought I could do it. But that's not how it works. Legends aren't made so cheap."

Taking a pause, the blonde, looked up at the man. His brows were furrowed. Not in confusion, but in attempt to mask the pity and sadness he felt. He may study body language for a living, yet the blonde knew more than he ever would.

"She killed Nadia. The academy crumbled to pieces. And the people inside? They ran for their lives. I still don't know where they are. But I don't focus on others. I learnt what makes a legend. So I took on jobs that other people couldn't to make up for the past."

"And now you're here."

"I have unfinished business. And a severely overdue apology."

"What kind of business?"

"It's like I said, Agent Hotchner, Valentizina Alianovna is a legend. And some folks believe you need to kill a legend to become one. I'm trying to right my wrongs."

"What are you saying, Arabella?"

"Miss Alianovna is excommunicado. There's a bounty on her head for fourteen million. I'm paying back my debt."

THE END.
