- JUNGKOOK POV -
I enter the house to the sound of my son giggling. The sound of his laughter is music to my ears and it is exactly what I need after a stressful day. I quietly slip off my shoes and tiptoe to the living area finding y/n tickling Jaekuk on the rug.
She is so good with him and it makes me relax knowing that he's in safe hands and happy, it melts my heart. I've never seen him with the smile he has on right now. It was so big and joyful. I didn't want to ruin this moment between them.
"Having fun?" I ask with a smile. "Daddy!!!" Jaekuk screams and jumps up, running towards me and starts hugging my left leg. I rub his back with my left hand due to my other, holding something behind my back.
"Good day at work?" Y/n asks as she stands up and walks over to me. "Stressful but I already feel better now seeing the two of you."
- Y/N POV -
I smile at him after he shows me his bunny smile as he spoke. He leans in and kisses me on the cheek and we both blush. "I um...I got you something...for looking after Jae," he says shyly before bringing his right hand from behind his back in front of him, revealing the most beautiful bunch of flowers.
It happens to be a selection of all my favourites. My eyes softened as he hands them to you, the subtle floral scent entering my nose.
"Wow Jungkook I don't know what to say, you really didn't have to do this. It's so sweet of you, thank you," I smile at him. "I wanted to," he smiles, satisfied.
"Jae do you want to help me put them in some water?" I ask him as he looks up at you with big eyes. "YES!" He exclaims before running out of sight and into the kitchen leaving Jungkook and me alone.
"Jungkook I-" I am cut off with his soft lips on mine, moving together in perfect sync. He cups my left cheek with his right hand and slowly moves it to the back of my neck, pulling me closer and deepening the kiss.
I am enjoying the moment and clearly he was too. It felt right; the two of us kissing, being close to each other, being with each other.
Suddenly we both break the kiss due to a giant smashing sound coming from the kitchen. We both looked at each other, worried, knowing that Jae was in there, before we ran towards him.
Hearing his soft cries broke my heart and seeing a cut on his foot, crushed it. There are fragments of glass scattered all over the floor. I place the flowers on the counter about to go over to him but Jungkook tells me to stay back so you wouldn't get hurt by the sharp shards.
"Baby are you hurt? What happened?!" Jungkook asks as he approaches Jae. "I'm okay, I just wanted to get a vase for the flowers but it...it was too heavy....and it broke....I'm sorry daddy," he cries into his fathers chest.
