Haru's POV

Killed a lot of monster today and dealt with them on my own. I don't have any party member nor I want to join one. Being alone is my style and people would only get in my way.

"Thats the last one". I unsheathes my katana and sheathes it back in. The monster's head gets decapitated and I collects the loot on them along with some proof for my completion of the quest. This is my 50th quest completed. Not that its hard but the monster didn't really think so it would be easy but the reward is big.

I went back to the city and enters the guildhall. With the proof in the bag, I gave it to the man on the counter. "Quest on killing some wild animal done", I said and I wait for the man to pack my reward. As soon as he put the bag of gold coins on the counter, I took them and went back home without taking the extra reward because its only some animal fur. Mine is fluffy enough so I don't need them.

I walks back to my house with some food I bought just now. My house is not that bad but it is also not that much. Its a small house for one person and its my house now. Hecc its probably some lost kids or small animal. Feeling the urge to fight, I walks to the Grovien Hill and it's where my target would spawn. My target is not much. They're only huge earth golem. Might be hard to fight with a katana but it won't take that long.

I stayed for a good 8 minutes and a golem emerged from a pit. More golem appears and they were just walking around while destroying some stuff. "Ketsugyo. Lets do this". I unsheathed my katana and dashes toward my first target. Its going to their source of energy which is also their leader.

"Snowy Drifts". I jumps and my body releases snow as I move too much. This will boost my speed and attract their attention. The golems turn to look at me as I leap from one to another one. As I landed on my feet, a magic circle appears below us all with the center being me. "Ketsugyo. Art of ice. Winter Breakdown". The golem freezes immediately and they gets mark with Ketsugyo's slash sign. I swings the air multiple times and the golems fall aparts as they were affected by the swing of my katana.

Its Ketsugyo's specialty. Doom Affectionist. Anyone who gets marked by any slash by my katana will get constricted in pain whenever I swing my katana. They gets sliced and dice when I swings multiple time. Basically my mainly used skill. I got lazy and took only their core for proof. Suddenly, a bigger golem was born with no core and made from all of the golems I defeated. I was about to take a hit from its attack but the golem cracks into smaller piece as something hits it really hard.

I was on the ground, watching the golem shattered into small pieces. My saviour came towards me with a mask and he looks bigger than me. He takes it off and I was in shock. It was the king of this city. "Your m-majesty..... what are you doing here?", I managed to say but he came closer to my face and his eye flashed his bright green eye colour. It seems like he is examining my body. Of course, I wasn't really wearing more clothes like him.

"Please call me Adam. You are to come with me", he said sternly and I bows my head as I follows him. I wonder what does the king wants from me. I mean he is the king and the city has been more productive in terms of economy and business. No life ranking or even people dead. Its a safe haven with good people and good place to be. Besides, he wants me to address him as his first name. Weird but as you wish, your majesty.

As we entered the hall of the castle, he grabs my paws and pulls me into a sudden kiss. Our tail wags unconsciously and I was very surprised to be kissed by the king that was far too good for me. We let go of each other's lips and our slobber was connected. He kneels down on one knees and takes out a small box. He opens it and reveals a very beautiful ring in it. "Umm your majesty... why do you show me a ring?", I asked and looks away but slowly reach for my katana as I felt someone staring at me. I turn to see that it was the king that was staring at me. His presences felt same with the one from earlier.

"Haru Shinikata, will you marry me, King of Lucroz, Adam Reyes?", he said with sincerity and hope. I don't think he is playing or lying right now but still...."Sorry but I can't. I'm not ready for this", with that I left him but I heard a low growl coming from behind me. I came to a halt and before I could turn around, the king pounces on my back and licks my ear. "You're mine".
