It's been about a 2 or 3 weeks living with Bri and it's gotten a little bit better. However I can't tell if it's us getting used to each other or just the fact we have been ignoring one another.
Its Sunday morning, and dads working extra shifts again. He asked me to take Brianna to go grocery shopping since we are out of pretty much everything. I'm serious our cabinets are almost bare.
So I told Bri and we both started getting ready in the bathroom. She took over all my space. I could barely put my makeup on in the mirror but I'm not about to start a fight with her. I don't have the energy.

Bri took forever to get ready as always but finally we were good to go. The whole drive was mostly silent except for the faint radio music playing.
When we got to the store there was no where to park to I had to park at a run down gas station two blocks away.
Inside the store was packed with people going crazy. It's not the apocalypse like calm down. I grabbed the cart started looking at the list. I could tell Bri would be no help since her eyes were glued to her phone.
I started guiding the cart through the aisles trying not to run over anybody. I was able to grab everything I need except toilet paper. Why the hell do people need 50 rolls? I'm gonna have to stop by another store before we go home.
We made our way to check out after an hour of shopping. Bri was still acting like a mute but I kind of like her better this way. As I stood there , I fumbled the paper list in my hands going over everything on there.
Then I realized I forgot the rice. One of the most essential groceries but we are next in line. So I snapped at Brianna to hurry and get the rice. She nodded but still stayed silent.
Narrators point of view: Brianna was jogging to the aisle for rice and quickly picked it up. As she did she noticed someone else in there with her. But not just anybody. It was ale.
Bri knew who he was because Emily had talked about him and shown her pictures before. Although she knew all this about him he knew nothing of her.
Which made him a perfect target to one up Emily with. Brianna had always been jealous of her but has never done something like this. In that moment Brianna quickly made up a plan to stab Emily in the back.
Ale's point of view: Ok which type of rice should I get? I completely forgot the brand mama said to get. Shoot lemme text her.
As I text mama, this girl comes up to me and she starts flirting nonstop. I don't know how to let her down tho. I'm waiting for Emily.
Wait but why should I have to wait? Maybe i should move on. She looks nice, so I could give it a shot. Still tho, how would Emily react? The last thing I wanna do is hurt her.
I start talking and we make plans for this Saturday at the park considering that all the restaurants have closed.
Emily's point of view:
What is taking her so long? Great the lady just finished. Now we are going to have to go back through the check out line. Even with the frail lady scanning slowly she still didn't make it in time.
Right when I finished putting the bags in the cart she comes. I swear if we weren't in the grocery store I would be going at her rn.
While we were going back through the line, I asked Bri where she was. Bri explained that she met a boy and they planned a date at the park this Saturday. Which made me happy cause I finally get some alone time.
We went to a few more stores and still came up short with toilet paper so we decided to give up and go home.
When we got home I was texting Ale because I was missing him a lot today. Well, more than usual.
We texted for about an hour we came to the subject of plans for the weekend. I just tell him I am stuck at home with my bratty cousin. I ask him, and he starts to get silent. Then he tells me he has a date at the park.
My eyes start tearing up and I don't know what to say. When he quickly says Emily I still love u I just don't know how long I can wait. It took me a few seconds to come back to reality and I say I have to go.
I didn't want him to see me cry so I kept my eyes wide open so the tears wouldn't blink away onto my cheek. Everything in my sight was getting blurry like how I was feeling.
I go to the bathroom and turn on the shower to boiling so I could burn away my feelings. As I wash the suds through my hair I keep rethinking about the situation.
Then I realize, that both Brianna and Ale have a date in the park on Saturday. So if I know Brianna she probably set this up to get back at me. I'm not going down that easy Bri. So she better watch her mother fucking back.
