Your fit for moving day
I can't help but feel nervous for today, I've never known anything else for Virginia. I'm just hoping I will be able to make friends at my new school.
We are almost to the new house and the butterflies are taking over me. My dad yells "HERE WE ARE!" Which finally knocks me out of my thoughts.
Dad: Well how do you like it? Emily: It's nice sorry I'm just tired.
I don't want to worry my dad, we have both been through so much last year.
I mean after my mom died nothing's been the same. But, this is a new start and trust me we both need it badly.
Dad: You start taking out some of your boxes ok? I'm going to go talk to the movers about when they will be done bringing everything inside. Maybe we can go out to eat later.
Emily: Yea dad that sounds good, how about Italian?
Dad: You read my mind honey Emily: ok I need to get to work, we can talk later.
Dad: ok love you sweetie Emily: love you dad
I'm heading to the trunk to get out my first box when I spot a cute boy walking out his house. Holy fuck he's hot, is that my new neighbor?
I need to stop staring right now or else he's gonna catch me. Shoot I spoke too soon. Is he walking over here?
Ale: Hey my names Alejandro, so you're the new neighbor huh?
Emily: Yea I just moved here from Virginia. My names Emily by the way.
Ale: Nice to meet you, do you need help with that?
Emily: are you sure, you don't have to. Ale: it's the least I can do
Me and Ale brought the first few boxes into my bedroom, we were laughing and talking.
Believe me I was blushing the whole time. I really like him but a guy like him has to have a girlfriend. Jeez these boxes are heavy I need a break.
Emily: I need a break, I just realized how out of shape I am.
I jump onto the bed and pulled my fuzzy blankets over me. It feels so good to lay down, I could fall asleep. Then I snap back and realize that I didn't even wait for his response.
Ale: scoot over cutie Emily: ok ok
Am I blushing just after one sentence? We eventually started cuddling and the warmth of his body made everything feel so safe.
How do I catch feeling so fast? I need to protect myself but falling for him is easy. Ale is pretty great though, and did I mention he's a literal model?
Ale: you look cute when you blush em Emily: oh stop it I'm not even blushing
Ale: also do you wanna come over later? me and some friends are having a movie night. Emily: yea I would love to. I'll go after dinner with my dad
