Hey guys! I am back from the dead! Lol, jk. I wasn't dead, had some major account issues and got booted from my old account. I hope you still want to read this! So I'm going to do a brief recap so you all know what happened at the end of last chapter. Enjoy ♥♥♥

•Bella finds Harmony, Ryuku's little sister. Bella is kidnapped.

• Kingdom is at war

• If the Nekton family plus the boys don't save Bella soon, Alpheus will steal her powers.

Fontaine's pov: 5 days later.......

~~~~~~
We'd sent a letter to Finn, and he'd gotten back to us very quickly. Of course he was angry, but he'd told us it was ok to travel through to the Aquarian castle.
"Mom, if we go straight to where Dad is Alpheus is gonna know." Evie said to me. She was right, and none of us knew what else we could do.
Apparently Ryuku did. "I think we should go down one of the paths that the battle has already been on." He offered.
"Why?" I asked. "Because, look at this. On the map this line is the most direct route to the castle. But the King fought them this way, so if we follow the old path, we will be at the castle in no time." Ryuku finally smiled.
I smiled back at him. "That makes sense." So we agreed to follow that route. We looked at it a little longer and realised that if we didn't start soon it'd still be a full day before we could reach the city area, and a few hours more to teach the castle.
"Prepare to leave, everyone. Because we're gonna go in an hour." I instructed.
Evie nodded and left, Ryuku barely acknowledged what I said and Eldoris awkwardly nodded and ran out. I guess everyone reacts to stressful situations differently.
Ryuku's pov:
~~~~~~

I have never been so worried about the person I'm stuck with. The others seem to forget that we need some kind of actual strategy, not just run in and bam! She's saved. From time to time I could feel her slightly. She was fighting hard against whatever they were doing to her, and that made me happy because the Bella I knew never gave up.

I thought back to the day I left. If I'd been there a little longer I could have protected her. I could have done something to make sure she was safe. But instead I left without even saying goodbye and now she's a prisoner.

I'm fucking stupid.

I got the few things I needed for our journey and pulled on my slightly heavy but very protective fighting armour. I tucked my sword into it's sheath, and hid a spare small knife tucked into a pocket behind my neck. I'd designed it so that my underclothes for the armour had a pocket to hold it in. Pretty cool huh?

So, now everyone was ready to leave. No one said much. The Queen was simply nodding at her servants, and we were travelling on horseback to prevent suspicion in the capital of Aquaria.

"Ryuku dude, you could burn a hole in the sky with that serious gaze. Lighten up." Eldoris grinned.

I resisted the urge to bite back. "Haha, ok. Whatever."

"Why are you worried anyways? It's not like she means anything to you yet." Eldoris prodded.

"What I think of her is not the issue here Eldoris. As a Princess I am her servant and guard, and it's my job to protect her safety. Forgive me for worrying since we have no actual plan, just a hope that we can do it." I hissed.
