Chapter 1: The New Academy

It was already homeroom session. The room was quiet, everyone was taking a break after a long day of classes. The school was as busy just like every day. Students are all at their own areas, doing their designated tasks for today. Yes, it was a normal day in Oarai Girls Academy.

Miho was sitting down on her chair, resting herself on the its table, same as other students in her class. She had finished her classes for today, and her items were already kept inside her bag, just below her seat. During her short break, she was daydreaming of what had happened 2 months ago, when her school won against All-Star University. It was a memorable experience for everyone, and a victorious moment for Oarai, but it wouldn't have been possible without the help of her friends.

Meanwhile, behind Miho are her fellow crew members, Saori and Hana, who are just finished fixing up their stuff. Saori slouched on her desk, tired from all the work in school, while Hana was busy working on a piece of art she started sketching on a piece of paper. It took awhile for Saori to notice what the Brunette-haired girl was working on, then at that moment, she leaped out from her seat, leaving her boredom behind, and gazed upon Hana from behind.

"What are you doing, Hana?", Saori asked in confusion. She could hardly decipher the details in Hana's drawing, but one recognizable part was a flower.

Hana turned to Saori, smiling. "I'm drawing my latest flower arrangement that I'm working on right now,", she answered. "Perhaps, I can understand my arrangements more if I drew them out,".

Miho overheard the commotion from the back and turned around to see the two talking to each other, while the other students in the vicinity within them minded their own business.

"That's very nice, Hana!" Miho reacted. "I always wanted to draw, but I don't think I'm quite good at it,".

"Anyone can draw, Miho," Hana responded. "It doesn't matter how good you are, or what style you want. It all comes from what's inside, just like Sensha-do, right?".

Miho gave a quick nod.

"Well, I don't know about that, but," Saori uttered, then she quickly took Hana's paper. "Let me take a closer look,".

The light-brown haired girl looked at the sketch with utmost focus. She turned and twisted the paper in all directions, understanding the patterns of pencil marks and shades. She finally stopped and sighed loudly, tired from the exaggerated movements from her arms.

"Wait, this is a flower?"

Suddenly, the door on the top-right side of the classroom opened. The entire class jumped from the loud creak, and a horrible aura travelled through the room, giving each student the feeling of unease, especially Miho, who jolted from the sound of the door.

Then, three figures walked into the classroom, two tall girls, and between them, a short, redheaded girl with two pigtails. The three stopped in front.

"It's the student council again!", a random student exclaimed.

"why are they here again?", another one uttered in fear.

"Are they here for the tank girls?", a student asked her friend.

One of the girls, Momo, pointed at the direction of Miho, who is in a state of nervousness.

Everyone else was still instilled with fear, except for Saori and Hana, since they're already familiar with the student council, their shock was instead replaced by confusion.

"Does this feel a bit similar?" Saori asked Hana.

"It's like deja vu," Hana responded.

The student council walked towards Miho until they stopped just a few inches between her.

"Ah, Nishizumi-chan!" Anzu interjected with glee. "I'm sorry to interrupt you today, but I need you in the Student Council Office right away!".

"Uh, yes!", the brown-haired girl spoke as her voice fluttered.

"Alrighty then, let's go!" Anzu embraced Miho on one hand and went back between Momo and Yuzu.

Miho stood up from her seat, puzzled by her encounter with the student council. Her friends were a bit concerned by this.

"Miho, what's the matter?" Hana asked with worry.

"Are you sure you don't need us to accompany you?" Saori offered.

Miho was glad she has friends who really care for her well being, but she will have to go on her own. "don't worry, guys. I'll be okay,", she replied. Then, she walked up to Anzu and nodded, implying for them to go.

"See you later!" Miho exclaimed to the two as she followed the student council out of the classroom. Then, they left the room with a loud bang from the door.

"Well, that was different,", Saori spoke to herself.

Outside the classroom, Miho and the student council went off to their office. It took them several minutes to get there and at last, they entered the office, they all sat down on their respective seats in the meeting area.

"So, what is this all about?" Miho asked.

"We have received word that a certain school has started their own Sensha-do club," Yuzu replied. "Ilustrados Girls Academy is the name,".

"Where did you get that information?" Miho asked again.

"We were contacted by their Student Council President," Momo responded. "They are a big fan of us after our match against All-Star. They were so inspired, they restarted their Sensha-do club,".

"Wow! I didn't know we were such an influence," Miho said in surprise. "But, why does it have to do with me?".

"Well, not only is our contact their Student Council President, she is also their Overall Sensha-do Commander!" Anzu joyfully uttered. "And, they're requesting if both our schools hold a friendly Sensha-do Match!".

From this news, Miho got excited.

"I can't believe our efforts during the annihilation match inspired a school to restart Sensha-do, and they wish to have a friendly battle with us!" Miho thought to herself.

"Anyway, we wanted you to know if we should accept their match against us. So, will you?" Momo asked Miho, giving her a powerful stare.

"well, umm... Yes, I guess we can have a friendly match against Ilustrados," Miho quietly responded.

"Then it's settled. Akiyama-chan!" Anzu called out. Then, a fluffy-haired girl came out from the closet.

"At your service!" Yukari excitedly shouted.

Miho had a surprised look. "Yukari? Why are you here?".

"The president told me to meet with you at the office," Yukari explained. "But I got bored, so I hid in the closet. It's also practice for my next spy mission!".

"Next spy mission-" Miho knew exactly what Yukari was talking about.

"You're going to infiltrate Ilustrados?"

"Yes! I was tasked by the student council to do covert operations on Ilustrados Girls Academy! Really nice, right?" Yukari stared at Miho, who quickly responded with a nod.

"Alright! We're done here!" Anzu gladly said. "You two can go now,".

The Fluff saluted to the President. "I will not fail you, President!" she uttered, then she whizzed out of the room.

"Miho, we will call you when our next meeting with all our team members will occur," Momo spoke. "For now, you'll just have to wait,".

"I understand," Miho nodded and she went out of the room.

The three student council members stayed behind, still seated.

"Yuzu! Call the Ilustrados student council president!" Anzu ordered her vice-president. "The match will start next week,".
