Underneath the forest canopy, Oarai's forces were in the middle of an ensuing battle against Ilustrados. Their tanks were positioned in a column formation following a dirt road leading to the northwest, yet blocked by Ilustrados' Sherman wall, while their light tanks provided fire support as they hid themselves on the brushes of the forests. With the Porsche Tiger at the front taking the shots from the enemy vehicles, the remaining Oarai tanks were in a dire situation.
"Everyone, form a defensive formation behind Leopon team!" Rommel immediately ordered. "Turtle team, stay in your position and ambush the enemy once they are near our position."
"Understood."
The Sherman tanks were a few hundred meters away from Oarai. They slowly inched forward while firing against the German heavy tank.
Suddenly, a voice was heard on team Oarai's radio. "Everyone, we are approaching your position from the southwest. We are currently chasing down the M18 Hellcat, so take caution against it."
"Nishizumi-san!" Noriko from Duck team exclaimed.
"Got it, commander!" Rommel replied.
Meanwhile at the Ilustrados side, the medium tank team under the leadership of Gemma were getting a bit anxious from the situation.
"Umm, Gemma, are you sure we can take on the Porsche Tiger?" a girl spoke on the radio. She was one of the commanders of the M4 Shermans.
"They have a massive gun there. Maybe we should take cover in the trees?" another commander from the second Sherman suggested on the radio.
Gemma quickly took the radio onto her hand. "Have you ever heard of the quote, we'll attack once we see the white in their eyes?"
"Hmm, I never thought of that," one of them says on the radio.
"but we can't even see their eyes, Gemma," the other reasoned with her team commander.
"It's just a metaphor, Jasmine. Once we are at a good distance, we strike them down!" Gemma quickly explained. "Slow and steady wins the race, right, Julia?"
"I guess that makes sense," the Sherman commander replied.
Hidden away from the battle was Ilustrados' flag tank, the M24 Chaffee, alongside a Renault FT-17 as they both fired shots behind the cover of the trees.
Both commanders popped out from their tanks. Luna, the commander of the FT-17, looked frustrated.
"With all due respect, President, I don't think your plan will work out," Luna voiced out. "And I'm not saying that just because I don't like Yuki or anything, but she's been silent for quite awhile, maybe her plan failed?"
"I'm pretty sure Yuki got at least one tank down," Maria answered. "We successfully split off the enemy's forces, especially their flag tank, and we got them bogged down here, so I'd say it's looking fine. Just as long as Yuki keeps the flag tank at bay, we can decimate their forces with ease."
"You put too much responsibility to that delinquent.That's gonna be damaging in the future," Luna spoke with worry.
Suddenly a voice spoke on their radios. "Umm, this is Yuki-"
"Yuki!" Maria greeted. "How goes the operation over there?"
"Umm, we kinda got beaten really badly here, so we're heading back to join with you,"
Luna joined in on the conversation. "Let me guess, both your Wolverines are taken out?"
"Wha-what! How did you kno- Uh, I mean I did took out a tank, and they're sort of chasing after me right now-"
