Waking Up

Everything hurt when I started to sit up and open my eyes. My head felt like it was pounding and soon enough it was going to break out of my skull. I looked at my surroundings to try and remember what had happened from the night before. I was in a very  bright room that bounced the suns light from the window on to every inch of the room that i was laying in.

There were strange looking people in all sorts of cloths, laying on the floor with red plastic cups in their hands. I was currently laying on a brown couch that reaked of alcohol and weed. There was pizza boxes galore all over the once nice looking house, and broken glass all over the tan carpet. There were stains all over the walls, the flour, the couch, and they were most definitely on all the people that were in the room.

I tried to get up but I noticed a weight on my chest. I looked to see a girl with black hair, wearing a tank top and leggings. I then thought of what had happend last night to cause such events. That's when it hit me.

I went over to Olivia's end of the year party with Nick and Zane. There were at least 60 people at the party when me and the boys first got there. We talked with Holly and Fern and they eventually got us to take a couple shots of vodka. Me and Fern were glued to each other swinging from one end of the living room to the other yelling and singing the songs that were blasting through the house. I remember Sam trying to get some of us to play spin the bottle, but every time we tried someone ended up grabbing it and smashing it on the floor yelling, " NOT TODAY SATAN!"

"Oh your awake Kali." said a voice, removing me from my train of thought. I look to my left to see who the voice belonged to, and it turned out to be Zane.

"What the hell happened?" I asked in a gruff voice trying to  sit up, the girl above me stirring in her sleep as I moved. Zane answered with I sigh and sat down on the arm of the drug infested couch.

"You and Fern drank at lest a gallon of vodka last night. You and that girl made out for a solid hour and Carly, well lets say she didn't show up at the best time." Zane explained holding his head in his hand, probably also suffering from a massive migraine as well.

I sighed looking at the girl laying on top of me. I silently cursed to myself realizing that explaining why I made out with another girl would be hard for Carly.  Carly hated when I drank. Her father was an alcoholic and me drinking only made it worse for her. I got up and noticed that there was a huge stain on the front of my shirt, probably from me drinking with Fern and her clumsy ass.

" Well I'm going to clean up and be on my marry way." I say in a sarcastic tone. Zane rolls his eyes in response and leaves to probably to fetch Nick, his brother.

I walk to the other side of the living room  by the stairs. I then noticed that there were even more people sprawled out on the stairs, blocking my pathway to the bathroom. I let out a small groan as I maneuver my way up the stairs to the bathroom. Once there I look at my self in the mirror.

My brow hair was pulled up into what I think was a small pony tale, but my hair refused to stay up so it was all over the place, sprawled out in every direction. My hazel eyes were dull and red,and my clothes smelled like all sorts of alcohol and drugs. My red tank top was drowned in  beer along with my leather jacket to go over it. My dark blue jeans had grease stains from what I hope was the pizza along with small circular burns along the sides.

I was smoking? Well that's new. I thought to myself as I was trying to clean off. I didn't care at this point and just wanted to go home. I started to hear quiet groans and whispers as I was cleaning my self off. I called it a day and opened the door to find a bunch of hung over teenagers trying to figure of where they were and what had happened the night before.
