After Persephone brith mother was killed by her step dad Persephone was adopted by Elizabeth Forbes and she be came big sister to Caroline Forbes, Persephone life changed at 12 when zeus bolt was stolen. Years later after the war with Gaea Persephone thought She would settle down with her girlfriend, annabeth chase she was a daughter of Athena ,but annabeth had other thoughts that didn't include Persephone she ended up catching annabeth cheating on her with James Cullen son of Zeus. Heartbroken she decided to go home.

After being in two wars and many quest Persephone was a guarded person, she not one to trust easy ,but if you gain her trust she will fight with her life for you. She very protective of the people she loves, she very sassy, she likes to piss off everyone who has more power than her, she has nightmares about her childhood and her time in Tartarus.

when she returned to mystic fall she was thrown into the world of the supernatural with doppelgängers, vampire, witches, werewolf's and hybrids. Some where along the way she fell in love with Nicklaus Mikaelson she seen him for who he really was a scared broken man, she felt like she knew the real him behind the monster he shows everyone ,because with her he was kind, caring, passionate and loving, she thought he loved her just as much as she loved him ,but she was later proven wrong. She didn't end up tell him she was a Demigoddess he thought she was a Element witch and she just didn't correct him , she did tell him about the abuse she received from her step father Gabe, about getting tortured in Tartarus just leaving out all the stuff about the gods, she even told him about being cheated on, that's why it hurt her so much when he cheated on her.

Years later run the Salvatore School for the young and gifted with Alaric while raising 4 kids together, she is the loving mother of two set of twins two boy Jace and Alec their biological father is Nicklaus mikaelson ,but he's doesn't know about them because she didn't find out she was pregnant until after she caught him cheating on her with Hayley Marshall a werewolf, who fell pregnant with Nicklaus child. Alaric might not be biological the father to the two boys ,but he loves them as his own sons and the boys love him

Twin girls Lizzie " Elizabeth" Forbes Saltzman and Josie Forbes Saltzman who are biological Alaric Saltzman and josette Laughlin who was killed on their wedding by Kai Parker her crazy twin brother, so to save the twins Jo was pregnant with the witches transferred them to Persephone, they may not be biological her daughter's ,but she see them as her own and that all that matters
