Chapter 1

Pawsteps echoed through the empty halls. The sound of metal claw extentions sounding after each step. He got closer to his destination. A heavy stone door slid open. "Welcome brother, we have missed you" greeted a ginger-colored duskwalker. "ya ya, i wasn't gone long" replied the other male. "Karefallen, we have been in await of you're arrival" said a heavally armored guard. Karefallen slid his claw extentions on the stone floor, making a terrible screaching noise. "Where might Dawn be?" Karefallen asked, examining a sculpture. "She as far as we know, should be at the Blooming Forest" said the guard. Karefallen chuckled, "expected of her."

Dawn lay in the dark purple grass of the Blooming Forest. The outside leaves dull, and the inside glowing a bright mint blue light, of the trees. Dawn sighed, spreading her dark to light red fading wings, across the grass. "Nice out today huh?" Dawn turned her head to see the familiar face. "You are back early, hello Karefallen" Dawn greeted. She frowned at the blood stained extentions on Karefallens claws. "I know, but you can't be in peace forever" Karefallen said, he layed down next to Dawn. Karefallen was an extreamly rare edition to the duskwalker clan. He has white fur, and black markings. Even his eyes seemed colorless, them being a light blue.

Dawn turned her gaze to the clouded sky ahead. The smokey air getting closer every second. "Is this is? The endless blood spill, the tears shead, the warriors lost.... And after everything, the war ends and the realization it was pointless hangs in the empty minds of the ones fighting" Dawn asked her friend. "I don't know Dawn, this was was started from what exactally? A few kits taking food from another?" Karefallen sneered in agreement. "It is a war of proving who is better, we are all the same. The duskwalkers who have departed and left to fight against us, the shattered bits of this clan are the answer" Dawn shifted her gaze to her friend. Karefallen nodded.

Dawn and Karefallen grew up together, Dawn Duskwalker is royalty. She has the blood of the ancestors who have created the Duskwalker clan. All of the duskwalkers who have the last name of Duskwalker have the blood and are considered royalty. Karefallen is not full duskwalker, he has the blood of a duskwalker and a dragon. Karefallens wings are big and not feathered. he has long twisted horns insted of the antlers they usually have. Karefallen is half royalty to the dragons, his mother is the queen of dragons, and his father is one of the princes of the duskwalkers. But he is not considered full royalty to the duskwalkers, but Karefallen is feared and respected, for it was him who made the alliance between the two tribes. Now the duskwalkers and the dragons fight together, and are peaceful.
