The distant howl of fear and pain rang in Karefallen's ears. He hated this, the war, the unnecessary deaths, every last soul let out the final breath, and never did again. Karefallen clenched his teeth as he stalked the blood stained war field. Dead duskwalkers were everywhere. It pained his heart as he saw 'him'. "So they really did get to you, huh?" Karefallen asked the lifeless, dark purple duskwalker. What was thought to be dead, opened his blood soaked eye. "Karefallen, you can't, don't do it please" pleaded the dark purple warrior. "I will avenge you father, I swear, I will not give into death until I can assure safety to my loved ones, and my clan" Karefallen growled, he brushed away the tear from his feather's dying figure. "Karefallen" the prince said weakly. "Father, I will make any last request a reality, tell me" Karefallen said, he softened his tone. "Karefallen, you are strong, the blood of both dragon and duskwalker..... If you seek to strengthen the bonds, you are the key" said the fallen prince. "Father what does that mean?" Karefallen asked. "You have the key to all the answers, use it to your advantage" the prince said, chocking out his last few words.
Karefallen returned to the clan, reporting the news. "He is gone now" Karefallen muttered under his breath. "Its ok Fall, everyone has lose, for example me" Dawn said, hearing his mutter with her extremely sharp ears. "I guess, you watched your parents die, but I don't know how to cope with this, losing the only true family that is in contact with you" Karefallen chocked back tears. Karefallen twitched his ears, hearing the dead souls cry. He clenched his teeth and clawed his long thin ears. "It wont go away" Karefallen scowled. "Blood isn't the answer" Dawn said, pulling his claws away, so he didn't bleed more. Fresh blood ran down Karefallen's snow white fur. "Good luck hiding that" Dawn said, pinning his talons under one of her paws. Karefallen scoffed and looked away, still amazed by Dawn's strength. Karefallen found it kind of creepy, the way Dawn's mostly blank expression, made it seem she was staring through your soul with her eyes. Especially when she look directly at him.
Karefallen's favorite spot was at the tallest cliff in the Blooming Forest. His thick black mane flowing gracefully. Karefallen often stood here for hours. Just enjoying the breeze. Even Dawn didn't know about this place. After the death of his father, Karefallen lest interest in most things that made him happy.
*Hia Galaxy here, sorry again it sucks, I just wanted to make a chapter focusing more on Karefallen..... (btw how to pronounce his name is 'care and fallon) Yes I made Dawn give him the nickname Fall, not fall like on no I am falling, but the first part of his name. Oh ya don't mind the picture I put at the top. It was cannon so yeeeeeeeeeeee*
