*(Y/N)'s POV*

Yukina-chan actually said yes?!
This is so great!
We're gonna get married one day and have a fun time together.

"Hey, (Y/N)," Yukina-chan spoke up. "Do you have a ring? Because you kneeled and everything."

"Oh, shoot! My bad! I have it in my pocket."

I reached in my pocket, and took out a small case.
I opened it, and Yukina-chan gasped.

"...That's a beautiful ring. I... I'm surprised."

"Yeah," I said. "It cost me a pretty penny. Many, many, pennies. But it was all worth it for you."

I took Yukina-chan's gentle hand and I placed the ring on it.

"It looks great on you," I told her.

"I can't thank you enough... But we have to tell my dad, obviously."

"Oh, yeah, your dad," I replied. "Sure, let's go now. There's no time like the present."

At Yukina-chan's House

"Hello, Mr. Yukina-chan's dad," I bowed at him, to score extra points. "I have come here with a request."

"Oh, (Y/N)," he said. "Sure, what is it?"

I breathed in.
Here goes nothing. Ignore the nerves.

"I... I want to marry your daughter, the beautiful Yukina-chan, after we graduate from high school!"

He was quiet for a bit. Yukina-chan stood in the corner, watching.

Finally, he said, "Give me a reason why you want to."

"Well, for one, Yukina-chan is the most beautiful girl in the world. Her eyes glitter with passion and dedication.  Her silver hair is just perfect to caress, and her laugh and smile brightens up my day, and my week."

They both stayed quiet again.
Yukina-chan blushed, but tried to hide it.

Then, he walked over to Yukina-chan.
"Do you love (Y/N)?" he asked.

"Yes. Very much. My stress goes down when I'm with him. He always finds an opportunity to make me smile."

Yukina-chan...

Her dad sat down, and thought about it for a bit.
"I see. The both of your eyes sparkle, actually. When you look at each other, I can see how much you care about her."

Then, he patted my shoulder.
"Make her happy, (Y/N)."

"S-so does that mean..." I said.

"Yes. I give my okay. It's kind of sad seeing my girl grow up so fast, but you two will be happy together."

I began to cry.
"Th-thank you. I... I will make her happy."

Yukina-chan ran to my side. She wiped my tears using her hand.
"Are you okay?" she said.

"Yeah. I am. Thank you, Yukina-chan."

"Of course. But there are still people to talk to," Yukkna-chan reminded me. "Roselia. The band."

Oh, boy.
They might be harder to deal with than Yukina's dad.
