A light flashed across the sea of humans – and it was too late...

The beams of yellow streaked the window of the red double layered bus as Lauren sat at the first empty seat. She opened her phone and dialled a number. Waiting for her phone to begin ringing, she placed it to her ear and looked over to the window, her face immediately paled. Dressed in black, and a scar running across the left side of his face, piercing black eyes that scowled at her slender, paled face and she knew it was him. "No way," she whispered into the phone, "no..." She pulled out the rubber band that held her hair at the nape of her neck and ran it across the shoulder closest to the window in attempt to cover her face from his harsh glare, but when quickly peeking through the curtain of blond hair – separating them from looking at each other, was him. 'He killed her,' was the only thought that ran through her mind and she never looked at that window again.
