Welcome to wonderland (✔)

Chapter 1

As you lay on your death bed, all of your four best friends surround you. They smile and hold your hand while squeezing it softly. Only 18 when your time came. Nobody ever figured out what it was, or how it came. But that doesn't matter anymore, it was too late and your friends were at your side.

"Guys?" You asked them and all four of them looked at you with a sad smile while nodding for you to continue. "Whatever happens, please dont forget me or each other. Because I know that I always have been the thread that kept us together, but I wont be able to do that for any longer. So please hold on for me okay?" All of them nodded.

"We will do that for you Y/N and you know? Maybe one day we will be all together again. In a place where all of our dreams come true! Like wonderland or something!" You smiled at his exitment and decided to go with it.

"Yes, we will do that Samuel, we will meet again in wonder. And you three will be there too okay?"

"Ofcourse I will be there! I cant let Samuel be there all alone! He will destroy everything." All of you laughed at Mike his words.

"Ofcourse you cant leave me behind, I am the eldest so I have to take care of all of my babies." With that he ruffles all of you guys hair causing the room to be filled with laughs and giggles.

"Even if you are the eldest Jake, you are the only one who isnt mature at this point so I will need to take care of that."

"Ofcourse I am the who is immature Blake but look at you! You are the one who is laughing the hardest at this point."

Watching in amusement as the four of them got into a small fight about what they are in the group. They didnt notice as a nurse walked in and went to your bed. She looked at you and back to your friends who were still bickering.

"I am sure they will miss you Y/N, you all seem very close to each other. Do you want to tell me about it?" Looking at her you nodded and began telling the story of you all.

"We met when we were just toddlers, we met in daycare and we all had our own indifference in the group we were placed in. As time went by the madam who watched us noticed neither of us had a connection the in the group's so she placed us all together." Laughing at the memory the boys had turned around and scrambled to the bed to listen to the story with the nurse. "but when we were placed together we didnt talk at all to each other because we all thought the other was a freak. Time passed and we warmed up to each other and here we are. All best friends, inseparable from each other, only by death..." you felt still knowing that you had to leave them so soon.

"Seems like a nice story, but you will need to say your goodbyes soon. It is almost time." The nurse left the room as silence was heard. You looked at the guys and were all looking to the ground, tears already streaming down their faces.

"Guys, please dont cry. You know what I always said and how much I hate it to see you all cry." They nodded and spoke together.

"If i die,
Please dont cry.
Look up to the sky,
And smile."

"That is more like it, now come on and let's give each other a big hug while I am still here." And just like that you were engulfed in the biggest and strongest hug all of you had ever had. They joined you on your bed and talked the evening away till the sun was setting and the moon was rising.

The time was there and they stood beside your bed as the nurse pulled all of the plugs that were keeping you alive. You looked at them and smiled. With your last breath you spoke.

"See you in wonderland." With that a long beep was heard and the nurse closed your eyes. After that she pulled a blanket over your heard and said sorry for your loss to the boys. They all cried in each others arms while thinking of you. This was the hardest day of their live yet, beside hearing that you were incurable and that was a year ago.

Since they heard that they were always afraid of this day. They made sure that they were always with you. Having a sleepover each weekend, but now the time was there and they knew you would be happy and that all of you would meet again.

As the boys were crying you woke up in a different place. It was beautifull and amazing. It looked like a world where you could be happy. A little walk down the road and you saw a small sign saying "wonderland" smiling to yourself you said.

"I made it here guys and I will wait for you." While strolling further you saw an old woman and all kind of animals. The woman looked at you and smiled.

"We have been waiting for you Y/N. My time has come here so now you are the one who will welcome all of the people here but they might not remember you."

You frowned but nodded. Maybe they wont remember you but atleast you were all together and you will definitely find a way for them to remember you.
