Chapter 4

At night you sneaked out of the house and went to sit in the flower field, eventually laying back you looked at the night sky and cried softly, making sure no one would wake up. But what you didnt know is that the forest animals looked at you from the woods. The rabbit was there and he walked to the hatter his house. Knocking on the door the hatter openend and saw the sad face on the rabbit.

"It came to this point again didnt it?" the rabbit nodded and leaded the way for the hatter. Sighing he followed the rabbit and came to the clearing where he saw you curled up in a ball, shaking from the sobs and crying. Not wasting time he walked towards you and took you in his arms. "Shh, dont cry Y/N, they will remember."

While sniffeling away you clung to him and shook your head. "That is not why I am crying hatter, I am cryring because when I talked to them, the world glitched and so did I. Is something wrong with me? Or with wonderland?" looking at each other he shook his head.

"Nothing is wrong with you, the world glitched because you planted a seed in their minds. A seed that you might be more then just a guide. It will grow once they are all together and when that happends the whole world here will glitch without the glitch you will never be remembered." nodding you kept being in his arms with a smile, as he continued to hold you with a smile.

Both of you had fallen asleep that night but you were awoken by the sound of someone new arriving. Getting up and quickly doing your hair and clothes correctly, you began walking to the sign again. This time you arrived a little bit later than planned and he was already standing there. Jake.

"Welcome to wonderland, Ill be your guide!"

"Psh my guide? I dont need anyone to show me around." he walked passed you and bumped you on the shoulder like you were nothing but a piece of trash. Continuing to stand there you waited for him to come back, without knowing where you need to go, you wont ever find your way on this land.

Sitting against the sign you closed your eyes for a bit until you felt a small nudge against your leg. Opening your eyes you saw the rabbit and smiled. He had made a small flower crown to lift up your mood, so he put it on your head and you took him in your lap, softly petting away while closing your eyes again.

After that it didnt take much longer for a shadow to appear and block the sun from your face. Opening your eyes you saw Jake standig infront of you a bit dumbfounded. Smiling you put the bunny aside and got up. He scraped his throat and touched the back of his head.

"I do need a guide actually, I feel like I have been wandering around for hours." chuckling to him you spoke.

"You wont go anywhere on this land if you dont know where to go." he frowned and you put out your hand for him to grab. "Holding your hand under sapphire skies." he took your hand and the skies indeed turned a shade of sapphire causing him to look at you in disbelief.

"That was amazing!"

"Let's go exploring or we could just go for a walk." it was silent while he thought of what to choose.

"Can you show me around the Island? I feel like my other friends are here too." you nodded and began leading him to where his friends would be. Coming across the house of the hatter, you looked inside and he looked back at you with a smile as he glitched a small bit. Shaking it away you came across the flowerfield where you came from that morning. At the cliff you saw Blake and Samuel chatting away.

"Samuel, Blake! I've got another of your friends. Go to them Jake." you let go of his hand and he looked at his now empty hand, but when he tried to look at you, you were already gone. In the distance he saw you glitching but he didnt repsond to that. But instead he ran to his friends and hugged them tightly.

"Oh god, how much I missed the two of you! I've been alone for two years since you took your own life Samuel! Dont ever do that to me again you idiot."

"I am sorry Jake, but why were you alone? Where was Mike all that time?"

"Well when Blake died he took over his investigation but when you died Samuel he lost it and began traveling. He traveled so much in an effort to find our friend but I want to aks you two something."

"What is it man?

"Who is that guide? I never heard a name, but the guide looks familiar."

"That is what we were talking about too, we dont know either. Maybe the hatter knows?"

"What? Who is the hatter Samuel?"

"The hatter lives in the middle of the woods, he can get everywhere super fast, he knows eveything about us, about that guide and about wonderland. Well lets get going." together they went to the hatter his house which wasnt far from the cliff.

"Ah there are you boys, I have been waiting for you a long time now. What is it that you want to know?" the boys looked from the hatter to each other and nodded together, spoke together.

"We want to know about that guide, the land we are on and and about our lost friend because you know everything!" the hatter laughed but soon smiled.

"Why dont we talk about that under the freshness from a cup of tea?" just like that, a table with chairs and tea appeared infront of them.
