Third Person's POV

You've waited so long...

Jimin is catching his breaths as he reaches the Rooftop. Jimin's eyes soften as his eyes sets on him. He was standing alone and even if Jimin can only see his back, he knew he's staring through nothing but mind occupied.

Jimin slowly walked towards his direction, Jimin swore he can hear his heart pounding hard the closer he gets to him. Jimin felt like any moment he will explode so he stops, clenched his hands and continue to only stare at him.

Jimin swallowed the lump in his throat, he opened his mouth but there's no voice coming out. Damnit, he's fucking nervous!

Jimin tries again.

"J-Jungkook. . ." Jimin called out softly, Jungkook pauses for a few seconds before turning around to look at Jimin, a smile appears in the younger's lips.

"Jimin-hyung." He said but Jimin didn't return his smile, he's too nervous to actually smile.

"Do you have something to tell me?" Jungkook asked, again Jimin left speechless.

"Why can't you talk now?" Jungkook asked amused, he's grinning from ear to ear and irritation grows inside the older male.

Jimin doesn't have any intention of falling for the younger male that's where his irritation coming from. To him, Jungkook is just a brother, he's just his bestfriend's younger brother.

But...

A year ago...

Jungkook confessed that he likes Jimin. He only turned 18 that time. He was in his rightful mind already and not too young to know the meaning of what he said to Jimin but at that time for Jimin...

Jungkook was only trolling around, as usual.

Jimin knows Jungkook very well. Jungkook always makes sure he gets to tease Jimin, he always finds way just to make fun of Jimin.

Jimin ignored his confession and after that he told Jungkook he'll forget what the younger said to him. Jungkook was cool about it, he says okay and then smiled. Just like that.

Jimin felt being played.

But even if the confession happens nothing change between them. Jungkook is still Taehyung's brother that Jimin consider as his brother as well.

Three months after the confession, they happened to be in the Club drinking, Jimin was drunk and Jungkook drag him outside and told Jimin that the sight of the older male being with someone else, hurts him.

Jungkook confessed again and from there, Jimin noticed how serious and sincere he was.

Jimin told Jungkook they don't have the same feelings for each other but Jungkook insist he'll wait. Jimin tried, he tried making things clear with him but Jungkook only shush him and told Jimin, he'll wait regardless.

And again, nothing changes in their relationship and Jungkook acted as if the second confession never happened.

But that confession hits Jimin hard. The way Jungkook said he'll wait, changes Jimin.

Indeed, Jimin's feeling for Jungkook slowly changes. Until the day comes, he felt he sees Jungkook more than just a brother.

"Jimin-hyung, you looked stupid." Jungkook says snapping his thoughts with a smile on his face.

Jimin's eyes stings tears welling up in his eyes and threatening to fall down, a lump formed in his throat, chest getting heavier the longer he stare at the younger male.

"Nine months ago..." Jimin voices out blinking his tears away, "Did you mean it, when you said you'll wait?" He asked him tone scared.

Jimin is scared. Scared that Jungkook might be just fooling around the entire time, Jungkook laughs and Jimin felt his chest tightens.

"Yeah." Jungkook says while scratching the back of his neck and Jimin's eyes widened. "I'm surprise you still remember." He added, amused.

Jimin didn't hold back anymore and let his tears fall down. Jungkook's smile fell down and rashes towards Jimin's side, he worriedly look at the smaller male and Jimin was about to hide his face but Jungkook caught his wrists with both of his hands.

Jimin let out a quite sob as he lowered down his head in shame, Jungkook lowered his head as well trying to make Jimin look at him.

"What's the meaning of these tears?" Jungkook asked concern.

"Jimin-hyung you looked stupid for real, I don't get you." Jungkook tells him but his tone was softer than usual. Jimin lifted his head up to meet Jungkook's gaze, Jungkook's heart sank.

"Stop waiting—" Jungkook cut him off immediately.

"Cause you felt bad knowing I don't have chance at all? You think, I don't know?" He asked casually.

"You don't have to wait anymore because I like you too and I want to share my life with you." Jungkook was taken aback and places the back of his hand over Jimin's forehead.

"You're not sick yet you are acting weird."

"Stop! If you don't want me like how I want you then just stop talking and get lost!" Jimin says irritated.

"What?" Jungkook asked in amusement, he cupped Jimin's face with both of his hands and caresses his cheeks.

"I want this," Jungkook clears up to him. "I want you, I just couldn't believe this is happening, okay?" He says tone careful because he doesn't want to upset Jimin again and thumbs the older's tears away.

"Stop crying now, 'kay?" Jungkook says soothing the smaller male. Jimin held Jungkook's wrists, caresses it and stared at Jungkook's eyes sincerely.

"Thank you for waiting, Jungkook-ah."
