It has been a day since you started the hideout protocol. You are working in the small office that belongs to the small cramped hotel room you are staying in Vancouver. You hope Millie and Kelsey will have some information for you. You get up from your work. You start to pace around. There is a timid knock on the door.

"Coming," You respond. Ten seconds later you've made it to the door. You open the door a little bit to check who it is. It is Millie. You let her in.

"I was doing some baking and I thought you might like some," She has a tray of cookies.

"Come in," you lead her to a small table. She places the tray on the table. Millie sighs. You feel a little sorry for her.

"What's bothering you?" You want to see if you can help her. Millie hangs her head in shame.

"I think I may be paranoid about your safety Justin," She explains as she takes one of the cookies. You try to think of something to cheer her up but you can't so you take a cookie and take a bite. Your mouth is filled with the sweet taste of double choc-chip with a hint of maple syrup.

"They are really good," you remark. The mood in the room changes.

"Thank you," She responds. She is obviously surprised that you like them. Your phone rings. You answer in out of habit.

"This is Justin Trudeau," you give the standard greeting.

"Mr Trudeau, are you able to give the interview to the CBN tomorrow," It's your press secretary. You glance at Millie and she nods.

"I think so but I will let you know if anything changes," You confirm. You hang up. You feel bad about answering the phone.

"Sorry 'bout that,"

"Don't worry. The interview is at the CBN studio right?" Millie asks. She knows it's important for you to let the public know you are safe. It is the day of the interview and you are getting ready. You are being watched closely by Millie and it is bothering you.

"Millie is something wrong?" you want to help her get to the bottom of things. She shakes her head.

"Sorry but I'm thinking about who it could be," Millie trails off.

"Millie we will worry about it later. For now, just enjoy the interview," you try to comfort her. A minute later you're led to the studio. You are greeted by the interviewer. She looks like she is about to explode.

"Thank you for coming, Mr Trudeau," She starts the interview as you sit down.

"Don't worry about it," you smile at the camera. Hopefully, she doesn't talk about the attempt on your life. Thankfully she doesn't. Seven minutes later you have finished.

"Let's go," You gesture for Millie. Ten minutes later you have made it back to the apartment block. You open the door and you are hit by a wall of dread. You take a breath to gather your thoughts but they are scattered by the sound of footsteps.

"Millie we have a problem," You announce.

"Yeah I know our rooms have been trashed," Millie sighs.

"That can only mean one thing,"

"What is that Millie?" You ask. You can tell that her frustration is getting worse. She leans on the wall.

"That gives us three possible suspects. Dang" She slams the wall was not a good idea. She winches in pain.

"We should grab our things and go," You hold out your hand to her

"Let me have a look first," you respond. She places her sore hand in yours. You have a look at the pale pink mark that will end up in a bruise.

"Meet me back here in ten minutes," You let go of her hand. You retreat back into your room. You start to gather your stuff. Your mind starts to wonder about the three people that Millie could mean. Ten minutes later you are finished and you are waiting for Millie.

"Sorry about the wait," Mille hangs her head in shame. You give her a reassuring look but there is not much you can do.
