BETRAYAL

What a thing to say

To a heart that sways

In just a blink of an eye

Those words had already run dry

How can words soothe a heart that sways?

If one’s love were apart of ways.

Like the sea that never runs dry

Was the lonesome lady’s eyes.

Through the night the heart would cry

Even the sun would heave a sigh

Gazing over the silhouette

Oh, the tranquil heart indeed regrets

In everyday the heart remembers,

Those eyes and breath of tender

Though the dawn gives a birth of new life

The twilight seems to bring back the past full of strife

Once the moon was big and lovely

And the breeze was sweet and cosy

Now even the night is a torment

The sheets could never be sufficient

Even though stars can’t be seen

I know they are somewhere twinkling

Feeling my agony and giving me sympathy.

Oh those words, why do they need to betray me?
