How deep is the ocean blue

From afar I don't have a clue

The waves that once was tossed

Were like memories of a man who was lost

The deep blue sky

So high and wide

Clothed with rays of light

Like a butterfly on its flight

How I wish to see the sun with its rays

With its warmth that comes rushing to my face

In those cold, dark and desolate place

Will I ever know how does happiness taste?

The weather is being friendly

And the sun is shining brightly

Summer breeze brushing gently

As if calling for this lady so lonely

Sitting on this cold heavy marble

I wonder when these walls would stumble

For in this lair of sadness I ramble

Every dream had seemed improbable

Oh, how lonely this life could be

No one to hold and sit beside me

That wall from far shore I see

Could there be someone in waiting for me?

If only I could go through and walk on land

If only I could run and roam around

It could only be in my dreams and wishes

And in just a second, everything perishes.

But woe, I could not take risk

This subtle hope could have me pricked

This gloom had made my heart grow bleak

I'm afraid if it breaks, I could no longer pick.
