He didnt even care if she loved him. Love played no part in his plans.

And if she did love him? If she had loved him for seven long years and he was the only man she would ever be able to trust hee body with, what then?

Talons of fear clawed her insides at the prospect that her inexplicable physical reaction to him and burgeoning trust in the face of his threats, indicated an altogether more devastating emotion.

He stood there, six feet, four inches, of incredible male, holding one of her daughters in each arm and Leanne's heart swelled with so much love that she thought it would burst.

Leanne jerked awake. Beads of perspiration rolled down her body.

It was another dream!

She had been having these dreams for the past seven years ever since he left and they seemed to be getting more vivid.

She lazily climbed out of the creaky bed and made her way downstairs. Her best friends Stacy and Marla were already in the kitchen preparing breakfast.

"Morning sleepy head," Stacy mumbled.

" Are the nightmares still there?" Marla chipped in with a concerned expression.

Leanne managed a slight nod as she grabbed the coffee that Stacy handed to her.

"I figured since I heard you speaking in your sleep," Marla added.

"What exactly was I saying ?" Leanne managed to ask.

"The usual," she said again obviously not wanting to repeat whatever it was that Leanne had been mumbling in her sleep

" I have a job interview tomorrow," Leanne announced at an attempt to change the topic.

" Oh yeah, I remember you mentioning that last week. I hope you nail it," Stacy gave her a warm smile.

"You dont even need that job," Marla mumbled.

"Of course i do," Leanne answered back, pouring herself a cup of coffee.

"Oh please! Says the girl who owns a freaking empire," Marla threw her hands in the air, frustration clearly on her face.

"Marla, just drop it," Stacy warned with a glare.

" Are the twins up yet?" Another attempt at changing the topic.

" They will be down in a minute...they were just brushing their teeth," Marla continued to stir the mixture of bacon and eggs in the frying pan.

Leanne turned just in time to see her darling little twins descend the stairs, both in pink joggers, black croptops and pink Louis Vuiton shoes with their hair tied into ponytails.
Her heart swelled with love as she looked at her six year old babies, Lyric and Lyria
