Alex's pov (Xavier/Master dude^)

It was he's 18th birthday.

Yet he felt as if something was wrong. It was around afternoon and Jaiden was getting ready for the afternoon hunt.

Alex wanted to stop him. He didn't want his brother to go. But words escaped him and he couldn't utter anything.

"Ok Alex, since it's your birthday, I want to baby you. Honestly, you deserve it. You deal with, pardon my language, shitty customers and me. Everyday." Jaiden said whilst putting on his gigantic leather boots.

"You really don't have to do that" Alex softly replied.

"I want to" Jaiden said going back and kissing his forehead.

"I'll be fine, don't you worry your little head off" that received a glare that looked anything but intimidating.

Jaiden chuckled "Seriously boo, we do this everyday"

"Yes, but today feels...Different?" Alex replied
Jaiden frowned. As far as he knows Alex's gut feelings could be true as much as it could be false.

"Ok, how about this, if I don't show up at home in time for dinner with a cake and a hunt in my hands, you can call the guards from the station in town." Jaiden suggested. But that didn't make Alex feel better, he took a deep breath and nodded for his brother's sake. Jaiden smiled lovingly at his little brother. He leaned down and kissed his forehead again. He walked out the door.

Xavier pov

"It was time pet" Xavier muttered that morning to his beast. The beast froze and looked at it's Master and a sadistic grin spread across it's lip.

"Ohh, who am I getting master?" The beast asked, tone sultry as it fantasized of all the things it's going to do with their boys once it gets them.

"Your getting our prince, I will grab our little boy" Xavier told him petting his beast's hair. The beast frowned. It did not like going out and be surrounded by people. But the next two days, it was going to make an exception.
"Well I better head out, Jaiden should be out to hunt right about. We do after all need to get him out of the way" Xavier mumbled to himself.

"Are we going to kill him Master?" The beast asked, worried of hurting their faerie already.
"No, just get him out of our way" His Master replied.

Xavier put on his red cloak and headed out of their humble abode. As he walked he spotted their doll's brother getting ready to shoot a brown Moose.

Xavier smiled. 'Perfect'. He waited till Jaiden had the arrow plunged upon the moose's head.

"Good evening" Xavier calmly replied suddenly behind Jaiden. Jaiden turned around with the reflexes of cat and shoot an arrow that Xavier caught in the air and broke in half.
Jaiden watched the two parts that used to be a whole fall to the ground.

He went to reach for another and realized in dismay that his last arrow was in front of him. Broken.

Xavier watched in amusement. "Good evening" he repeated his earlier statement.

Jaiden hesitates. The way he said that was in a way threatening.

He took a deep breath "Good evening" he said back uncomfortably.

"My name is Xavier. I was walking around and happened to have spotted you. Might you tell me your name young lad?" Xavier said.
"I can not tell my name to strangers for they can use it against me" Jaiden replied, finally on his feet and stepping away from the male eyeing him like he was going to rip him to shreds any minute.

"Understandable" Xavier than stepped up to him and laid his hand on Jaiden's head letting his magic flow.

Jaiden attempted to pull away. But Xavier had a tight grip on his hair.

Eventually Jaiden passed out. Xavier hummed softly picked Jaiden up and threw him over his shoulder.

' good thing I caught him close to home' Xavier thought.

He returned back home and noticed his beast is off to get the prince. The thought made Xavier smirk.

Alex's pov

It was dinner time and Jaiden wasn't there. Alex spent the whole day reading and being unproductive Over all.

At some point he decided to go and look at his brother's most common hunting area for him.
What he found had him a bit concerned. A dead black moose with a an arrow sticking out of it's head and an arrow broken in half.
Out of the corner of his eyes he saw a dark figure.

"Jaiden?" Alex called out, hope lacing his voice.
A chuckle the made Alex shiver followed his reply.

"No my sweet" the dark figure replied.
"Than who are you?where is Jaiden?" The little boy did not understand the smile that spread across the Man's lips, than a laugh.

"What is so funny?" Alex asked angrily.
"Nothing, sweet, just forgot how cute you can be" the man said. Alex was disturbed. Had he met this man before?

Now that the man is in the light, Alex could see his features more clearly.

He had lovely olive skin that shined and glistened under the moonlight, a really sharp jawline with dark brown hair that looked almost black. Beautiful in a deadly way.
A chuckle zoned him back to reality.
"Like what you see, sweet?" The man asked, his tone teasing.

"Who are you?" Alex tried repeating his earlier question, but with more force.

The man hummed "If you must know, my name is Xavier. Now since I told you my name, it's only fair for you to tell me yours, I heard you faes are all about being polite."
Alex gave him a hard stare trying to understand what the man wanted. He had so many questions. How did this man know his a faerie? Why was he here? Most importantly where is Jaiden?

He needed to get out of here but he can't. Not without his brother. Not without Jaiden.
"It's getting late. You can come with me and stay the night if you wish." The man, Xavier, suggested after a bit of silence.

"No" Alex eventually said backing up and turning away from the man.

Xavier's smile faltered but it didn't disappear. "Sweets" he tsked "you talk as if you have a choice"

With inhuman speed he was behind Alex with hand to cover his mouth to prevent screaming.
Xavier put cloth around his mouth. He gave most of his magic putting Jaiden in temporary coma.

At that moment Alex regretted not running.

'Why didn't I run?'
