Hey All,

We are starting a very positive 21-Day Article series on our FB page. Find below a very interesting and insightful article by our inhouse Chief Learning Officer Minal Kering - Read away 🙂

Lockdown, Curfew, Isolation – until now, all these words were familiar to most of us only due to the CIA, MI6, RAW inspired spy movies or medical thrillers. For these words to become a part of our lives is not only an unimaginable reality but a very surreal life experience for us, our families and our communities around the world.Personally, I must admit that even though it has been overwhelming at times, it’s actually not been as bad as I thought it was going to be.

Many believe we have lost the last few weeks’ worth of progress & 3 months of potential business revenue but we must not forget the additional weeks of personal & family time we have gained. All this time to relax and unwind, eat healthy, catch up with family and friends, lost friends, far relatives, (albeit online), learn or re learn a hobby, catch
up on movies, etc. These moments to stop and be still are as much a part of joy in our lives as is the moving & growing part of our lives.

Thinking back on the last few weeks, there are a few things that have worked and a few that haven’t, but every single day has brought with it a new learning; and so will the next
couple of weeks for each and every one of us – young and old! To get through this difficult, challenging and completely different way of life, we must have a positive attitude and open
mindset – we must all be ready to learn, unlearn and re-learn!

To simply have an opportunity to do something is not a guarantee of us achieving what we want to, unless we actually put it into action. To ensure we use this given time wisely, our
current situation demands for the understanding and practice of unique values and less thought of life skills. Apart from food medicines, we must all stock up on – hope, patience
(a whole lot of it), courage, team work, resourcefulness, perseverance, staying connected in distance, empathy, kindness, team work, co-operation, positive thinking, coping with stress and emotions, love and understanding, mindfulness and most importantly gratitude for everything and everyone!

How we manage ourselves and our lives in these 21 days will tell a lot about our character and who we are! We all know it, but are we willing to change?

Are we ready for this New World Order?
As Socrates once said, “The secret of change is to focus all of your energy not on fighting the old, but on building the new.”

I’d like to believe that from now on it’s definitely going to teach us all a better way of living with love, humility and compassion for all living beings in the world.

And that’s our ask of you today –

Be Positive and make the most of this 21-day window of opportunity!

In the coming days, we’ll be sharing more thought provoking articles and life stories which you can learn and action for a better quality of life. Let’s thrive in this journey together - for
a better you, a better us and a better world in the future!

- Minal Kering
