Damian pov: It was finally Friday. So it was my date night with my Angel. I got ready and actually dressed more formal than I usually do. I was wearing a black tuxedo with a white button up shirt. I wore my hair gelled back as usual. And then to tie everything together, I wore black dress shoes. I was quite excited for this date, because tonight is the night I'll be proposing to Marinette. Mari recently just turned 18 and I am already 18. We will be graduating in 3 months. I already planned everything out. I just hope her answer is yes... But enough of my thoughts. Time to go pick my Angel up.
"Master Damian, are you ready to departure?" Alfred asked me. "Yes, thank you Alfred. Is my Father and brothers already there?" I asked the old butler. "Yes Master. Everything is in place, now we only need Miss Marinette." He answered me. I nodded my head. "Good, let's go." I said and walked over to the limo. I got in and took a deep breath. I can't wait to see you my Angel. And hopefully, you'll accept me. Those types of thoughts kept on racing through my head as we arrived at Mari's house. I got out and knocked on the door. I heard a few mumbles from the inside and then the door opened.
Ivy opened the door. "Ah Damian. It's so nice to see you again. Mari will be down in a second." Ivy said with a smile. I gave her a small smile. "Thank you Ivy." I thanked her as I walked inside. We sat down on the couch and Harley came in with cups of tea. "Hey sugar! Are you ready for tonight?" She whisper-yelled very excitedly. I chuckled a bit. "Well, I am really nervous. But I guess you could say I'm excited as well." I answered. We heard footsteps and looked up. Mari was walking down the stairs. I gasped. It felt like slow motion. She looked beautiful.

It was a simple dress, yet it had amazing details attached. Her hair grew alot in the few months she was here. She even dyed her hair lighter. It was styled in an elegant way.

She stopped in front of me. "Hello love." She greeted me and pecked my cheek. I had a goofy smile on my face. "You look beautiful Angel!" I exclaimed and hugged her tightly. She giggled at me. "Now lovebirds, save the whole couples thing for the gala. You know how important tonight is. Your old class is already there." Ivy said and kissed Mari's forehead. "Love you my flower. And we'll see you in a while. Me and your aunty are gonna get ready. Be careful." Ivy said and she and Harley went upstairs. "Are you ready Habibti?" I asked Mari. She smiled warmly. "Of course love. Let's go." She answered me and we walked out.
