Chapter 17

*Adam's POV*

I stand infront of the mirror trying to put on my tie. I arranged to meet my parents at a restaurant that I booked at. Tommy is getting changed in the other room, I don't want to rush him again. I can't rush him, Tommy will think that I only just want things my way. I hear the door open, I see Tommy standing in doorway.

"You aren't ready yet?" he asked.

"Um, no. I don't know how to tie my tie," I answered.

"Here, I'll help you," he walked towards me & undid the tie. He undo the knots I did trying to tie it. "Okay, just stand still," he told me.

"Yea, like I'm gonna run around the house at this time," I replied. He gave me a stern look. "Sorry," I said.

"Okay, you're done," he said. I look back at the mirror.

"Thank you," I said.

"You're welcome, you look nice," he complimented.

"You too, do," I said. He blushed.

"Thank you, Adam," he said. He started walking towards the door when I grabbed his hand. "Adam wh-," I cut him off with my lips upon his.

I pulled away, "I fucking love you," I said.

"And I love you," he replied.

"C'mon let's get going. Don't want to be late," we exited the room & exited the house. We got in the car & drove to the restaurant. We arrive at the restaurant & entered through the door.

"Hello, do you have reservation?" the man asked.

"Yes, Lambert, Adam," I answered.

"Yes, please follow me," he led us to a table where I see my parents.

"Adam," my mom got my attention.

"Hey, Mom," I hugged her.

"Welcome home, Adam," my dad said.

"It's good to be home," I hugged him also.

"Mom, Dad, I'd like you to meet my boyfriend Tommy," I introduced him.

"It's so good to finally meet you Mr. & Mrs. Lambert," he shook my Dad's hand & kissed my Mom's hand.

"Such a gentleman," my Mom exclaimed.

"Nice to meet my Adam's boyfriend," we all sit down at the table.

"It's good to meet you to see where Adam get his good looks from. You both are a wonderful couple," he said.

"So, Adam how did you meet Tommy?" my Mom asked.

"He's my bassist," I answered.

"Tommy, why don't you tell us a little bit about yourself," Dad said.

"I'm 29 years old. I've grew up here in California. I started playing acoustic & electric guitar when I was 12 & started playing bass when I was 14. I liked music since I was 10 years old. I lived with my mom & younger sister. My dad died from cancer not to long ago."

"Aww, I'm so sorry for your lost Tommy," my Mom comforted him.

"It's okay, Mrs. Lambert. He's in a better place know," he reassured her.

"So, Tommy did you auditioned?" my Dad asked.

"Yes, Mr. Lambert, I auditioned for a bass player position. I got the job after I'd auditioned. I was really happy I got the job that I always wanted," he answered.

"How did you guys get together?" Mom asked.

"Well, before then I thought I was straight, but there was something about Adam that I didn't see in anyone else. He made confused about my true sexuality & when I told him how I felt he said he liked me & we became a couple," Tommy explained.

"Oh," my Dad said.

"What I like most about Tommy's that he's not afraid to show his feminine side. He's optimistic & kind. He's the most beautiful man I've ever seen. He won my heart & I love him because of him," I said.

"Aww, thank you, Babyboy," he kissed me.

"Babyboy?" Dad asked.

"That's what I call him," Tommy answered.

"And his is Glitterbaby," I answered.

"Oh, that's adorable. It isn't cute honey?" Mom asked.

"Yes, it is, sweetheart," he answered.

"Thank you for letting us be together Mr. & Mrs. Lambert," Tommy said.

"Please, Tommy call me Linda," Mom said.

"And call me Eber," Dad said.

"Okay, Linda & Eber," Tommy said.

Dinner went great, my parents got to know Tommy a lot more & they really like him. Tommy really enjoyed talking to my parents. He wasn't shy or afraid. He was confident in what he was saying, he's more open. He's not afraid to show affection infront of them.
