You wake up in panic, rubbing your eyes. Cleaning them off of the eye Crust you had gained throughout the night. Your face was dripping sweat, dry tears were marked on your face.
You quickly turn your head around, frantically looking around the little camp you and sett had set up before you guys had fallen asleep.
The New Vegas strip was still bright as ever, lighting up the night sky. You take a deep breath, letting a gust of air out of your mouth.
Some tears still gently fell down from your eyes and onto your cheeks, you sniffle lightly. Moving your hair out of your face.
Sett sits up slowly, rubbing his eyes and looking at you with a squint.

" (Y/n)?.. " He pauses into between yawing " Is everything okay? " He mumbles in a sleepy tone.

" Y-yeah.. yeah. I'm fine. " you say in a shaken up tone.

Sett wakes up a bit more. Reaching out to grab your hand " Was it a bad dream? " He question's

You nod lightly

Sett chuckles a bit, putting his thumb under your eyes and wiping away to excess tears you had coming down your face.

" Don't be afraid (Y/n), as long as I'm here nobody can hurt ya. " He says in a sleepy voice.

You smile slightly, " Yeah, thank you.. " you say quietly.

Sett looks at you worriedly. You are still pretty visibly shaken up. He reaches out to wrap his arms around you tightly.

" oh Come here " he says as he pulls you back down into the sleeping bag.

You are inches away from his face, you can feel his breath as he breaths onto you. Your face lights up in red quickly.

" See, Right here. Im these Arms nothing can get you, I won't let 'em " He smiles down to you, pulling you even closer to him.

You move your head into his chest, resting your head below his chin. " Thank you, honestly. " you say.

Sett chuckles " Don't worry, just get some rest ok? " he says.

You nod, leaning into him slowly, putting your head into his chest. Sett keeps him arms tightly wrapped around you, smiling as you lean into him.

Sett rubs your back lightly with his hand " Goodnight (Y/n) " he says ever so gently.

    *later into the evening*

  Loud screams echo from below the hill you and sett had made into a little makeshift camp.
   You jump up, sitting up straight. Sett groans, rubbing his eyes and sitting up slowly.

   " (Y/n)? What's wrong? " he groans

  You turn your head to him quickly " Did You Not hear the screams? " you exclaim.

    Sett shakes his head " it was probably just another bad dream (Y/n), Stop worrying " Sett says slightly annoyed.

  You sigh, " I'm sorry Sett, I didn't mean to bother you ".

   You slowly lay back down again, pulling the Covers of the sleeping bag over yourself.

  Sett sighs, " No no, that's not what I meant.. ugh. Come here. " He says.

   Sett grabs you, moving your head onto his chest. He puts his arm over your chest, keeping you locked in.

   " Listen to the sound of my heart, I did this with Veronica back at good springs when we used to date.. she had pretty bad nightmares as well..  this well, always seemed to help her fall back asleep.  " Sett explains
