Silence. Darkness. That was the only thing that could been seen and heard in this place. A small child walked through the empty streets of his district, silently wondering where everyone was. He decided to break the silence.

"Is anyone there?" His voice was soft and wavering. He was scared.

He walked to a small shop he usually stopped at and stepped on the porch area.

"Are you in here, Miss-" He stopped mid sentence as his lip began to tremble.

The shop was destroyed on the inside. Shelves were knocked over, bottles and packages were broken, but what caused the boy to tremble the most, beneath a shelf laid the shop owner. She was surrounded by a puddle of blood that poured from her neck.

The boy baked away, tears stinging at his eyes. "N-no.."

As he turned around, dead bodies seemed to appear on the streets. "No!"

The child ran through the street, calling out for his mother, father, and his brother. As he ran, he tripped over and arm that grabbed at his leg. The body stirred as the arm gripped the boy tighter. "Why did you let this happen.." The voice was weak, raspy, and quiet. "You did this.. It was your fault.." As the body fell back to the dusty street, the boy had already began to sob.

"Nii-san!" He finally screamed. He needed them. Anyone. Someone needed to save him from this.

His head snapped toward his home as he heard a crashing sound. He stood, his eyes wide. "T-there..?" He swallowed hard as he ran into the house.

The house seemed so much darker and dead now that he was hear alone. He walked silently through the house, peeking carefully into every room. The kitchen was a mess, but there was no one there.

The child swallowed his sob and he made his way to his parents bed room. He peered inside. Nothing.

There was only one other room. The family room. He wobbled left and right as he made his way there. He stopped at the door and opened it, his breath stiffening.

"Foolish, little brother."

Sobbing. Red eyes.
