Luke X Reader

Nightmare

I see my parents as we're singing and laughing at my dad's bad jokes. I just remember my mom and dad smiling and laughing. We were driving to dance lessons. We were almost there when a drunk driver came slamming into the front of the vehicle. I see glass shards flying as my seatbelt keeps me restrained it seems all so slow motion. I see dad with his head on the horn bleeding as it beeps on. Mom shot out the window because she wasn't wearing her belt. I see her face skid across the road scrapping up and her not moving a muscle. Soon the ambulance comes and a firefighter came to get me out of the wreckage. He pulls me out and I black out next thing I know I'm in the hospital on a gurney being rushed into the emergency room and I look and see my dance uniform completely covered in blood. I then see the glass shard impaling my chest and it's a huge piece. I then black out from shock but then once again I wake up in a hospital bed bandaged up. I start to cry knowing my parents are dead and have no family in the country so my best friends parents co adopted me. I then take a sharp inhale and black out.

After the Nightmare:

I jolt awake and feel tears falling from my eyes I then crawl off of Luke and go curl up in a ball in the corner. I put my face in my knees and just cry softly trying not to wake up Lukey. I soon hear rustling from the bed and then feel arms wrap around my shivering body. It's Luke he then whispers in my ear "Baby what's wrong I'm here now it's okay!" I just cry into his chest. I soon fall asleep and he lifts me and places me on the bed. He ended up staying up all night watching me sleep making sure I was okay. When I woke up he smiled at me sadly and just held me. I then told him what happened in my nightmare and how my parents died. He just held me and told me how he lost a sister and I was shocked he only had brothers but I guess he had a sister.
