I have never been to a dentist. Ever. I am 21 and this is my first trip. Aspen dental was short staffed and very busy. After waiting hours for my appointment. I get told I won't have a male doctor. They give me a female instead. I prefer male doctors. I feel more comfortable with them unless it's for my woman needs then I prefer a female. So on top of being nervous and waiting, I find an unexpected doctor switch. I got up to leave and my grandma gave me the look. And I had to sit down. She shines a bright light in my face and prodes my mouth. Yuck. She cleans my teeth. Then the dentist goes to wait on another patient. Leaving us alone for two hours. My grandma was furious and I was scared.

Then she comes back and tells me I have three cavities. And my grandma asked her how much we'd have to pay, and she told her. I have no insurance. So it was more than we could afford. I've never been more glad to hear I'm poor.
I brush and floss and I have no pain. I think she was just imagining things.
