It was the 6th of August. Her birthday is on the 8th, so I started preparing everything. Right after our dance rehearsal, I rushed to a store (Ofc with a mask and bucket hat on) and began picking out a dress for her. I don't really see her in dresses like that, but I know she'll look so cute in one.

I want her to look perfect on her birthday. Well, I know warm colors look good on her skin so I'll try to find a red dress or something but she also looks good in black! Ah~ what do I do?

________

Nia's POV

I woke up with a big headache. I don't why but it was very painful. "I have absolutely no time for headaches." I commented out loud.

I checked my phone with a slim squint in my eyes. The bright screen pierced my eyes with its light. A message appeared once I gave the phone my facial recognition. It was from Sonya and she asked if I wanted to go to a cafe with her. Of course, I agreed but I needed to take some medicine first.

I took the pill that was in the bottle on my nightstand. With no time to waste, I searched for my outfit.

I texted Sonya back and told her I'd pull up to the location in a few minutes

I texted Sonya back and told her I'd pull up to the location in a few minutes. I was going to head to the elevator but I couldn't leave without saying something to Jungkook. I headed to the 11th floor and came across his door. I knocked as usual. But nothing happened.

I tried again, getting impatient. I guessed he wasn't there so I just rode the elevator downstairs and called my taxi. I waited outside the condo to get some fresh air. It was a nice day. The sun was glowing on my melanin skin, I felt good in my outfit. It felt like I was finally getting a break from all the stress.

And top it all off, my headache was now gone.

The taxi pulled up after five minutes. I got in and had small-talk with the driver. Soon, I pulled out my phone and called Jungkook. Look, I may be a little salty still from last night but I'm his girlfriend, ok? I love him.

"Hey, are you not in your room? You didn't open the door when I knocked."

"Yeah. I'm out." "Oh, where?" "Just at the studio." He replied. I leaned back in the car seat with my back now on the leather. "Alright, have fun. I hope I'm not interrupting anything." I said. This conversation was tenser than ever.

"You weren't interrupting but I have to go now." He rushed. "O-ok." I was about to hang up but then I heard....

"Hey, do you have-" And the phone hung up. Ok? I don't know what that was about but It didn't feel good.

The drive ended, I paid and then texted Sonya. She was already inside so I rushed in. As soon as I entered the glass doors, I looked to the back of the cafe and there she was, just sitting and waiting. I walked over and hugged her tightly. "Hey girl!"

Her outfit was so cute. She literally knows everything about fashion.

"Hey, sis." She said. I put my purse on the table and sat in the seat across from her at the small, pink table.

"How have you been?" She asked. "I've been good. Kind of stressed though but I feel great today especially. I got to see my bestie."

She smiled at my response. "How have you been?" I returned the question. Her eyebrows lifted while she sat one hand on the table and the other one rested under her chin.

"Whew. It's been amazing. I feel so blessed. Millions of people have visited my shop after Hoseok wore one of my pieces on TV. People saw my embroidered logo on his shirt and the next day the line was out the door. I might have to relocate." She giggled while speaking.

"That's so great! I'll be happy to buy some clothes from you and support. I've just been so busy but I'm so proud of you. You have everything so easy."

She shook her head vigorously. "No, no. It took a long time to get like this. Before I met Hoseok I moved to Korea by myself thinking it was gonna be all rainbows and sunshine. I struggled way too much and almost got kicked out of my apartment. I couldn't find a store for me to start my business and there were many other problems I faced. I had to work my ass off and then I met the love of my life."

"You're so inspirational, Sonya. And you and Hobi are so cute."
