Tragedy

Far away in the mountains their was a boy named (Y/N) who was doing his daily run "Hmm wonder if I should stop by old man Daichi's house" the teen said running at a fast pace. (Y/N) was then stopped to see an old man standing outside his house "Hey old man Daichi!" The teen said cheerfully running to the man "ah (Y/N) doing your normal run as usual I see" Daichi said smiling at the energetic teen "You know you remind me of myself back when I was your age" the old man said smiling looking up at the sky. All (Y/N) could do was smile "do you have any story's for me today Daichi?" (Y/N) asked
"sorry (Y/N) not today...." the elder said. Daichi was like the grandfather (Y/N) never had and he always looked up to the elder or would go to him for advise "Well you should get back to running (Y/N) your mother might be wondering why you haven't returned yet" Daichi said smiling at the teen "yeah your right well bye old man Daichi!" (Y/N) said then ran off. (Y/N) had to pass a village on his way back to his house but then something no someone stood out compared to everyone else. It was a teenage boy who was older then him with white hair wearing a kitsune mask, a white Haori with the moon in the center and a ice blue wolf at the bottom. The male had a sword with him as well "hm wonder where he's from maybe Yoshiwara" (Y/N) thought to himself and continued to run to his house. About 20 minutes later (Y/N) was just arriving at his house "Niisan!" Three children said running to (Y/N) "I wasn't gone for that long was I?" (Y/N) asked "Oh fubuki happy birthday!" (Y/N) said to the taller boy of the the children said "thanks Niisan!" The boy named fubuki said smiling at his older brother "(Y/N)!" A voice called for him "coming!" (Y/N) responded then ran into his house to see his father cooking with his mother. His mother turned around to him and smiled "would you be able to get some ingredients from the village for Fubuki's Pad Thai" His mother asked "yeah no problem just tell me what you need and I'll go get it" (Y/N) said. His mother then gave him a list "be back before night okay" his father said "got it!" (Y/N) said then ran out of the house. He was sprinting to the village noticing that it was sunset "gotta get back before night" he thought and continued sprinting.

(Y/N) got the ingredients but it was night "I'm gonna get scolded..." (Y/N) thought while running back little did he know a white haired male was following close behind. (Y/N) got back to only see his house covered in blood then saw something that scared him a human no.....a demon something that for him was a myth feasting on the dead corps of his family. (Y/N) made the mistake of dropping the ingredients which caught the demons attention "well well another one to dine on" the demon said running to   (Y/N) then gave the boy a decent wound "get away from me!" (Y/N) shouted then ran the way he came "oh no you don't!" The demon shouted chasing after (Y/N). (Y/N) dashed through the forest trying to escape death itself "come on don't you wanna see your family?" He shouted (Y/N) froze when hearing this. The demon was now behind the teen "see ya kid" the demon said causing (Y/N) to close his eyes waiting for the attack but nothing came. (Y/N) opened his eyes and turned around to see that masked teenager from before "You're lucky I was following behind you...." the teen said taking his mask off "did he wound you?" He asked checking the younger males body for any deep cuts or wounds "He did get you here take this" the Older teen said handing (Y/N) a flask "it's water with some painkillers in it this should stop the pain for a bit...." he said. (Y/N) opened the flask the drank the water "feel better?" He asked only getting a nodded from (Y/N). It then went into a awkward silence "um excuse me....um..." (Y/N) said trying to figure out what to call this boy "Ichirou" the teen said putting his mask back on "Um Ichirou thanks for saving me...." (Y/N) said "no problem but right now you need to be bandaged up" Ichirou said taking off his haori to see a black uniform that saves "avenge" at the back of it. Ichirou ripped the sleeves off then tied and wrapped them around (Y/N)'s wound "I'll take you to a friend she'll help you out..." he said then whistled, just then I saw a wolf walk up to Ichirou "come on Kai we need to take this one to shinobu..." he said picking up (Y/N) and carrying him "how far is this persons house...." (Y/N) asked "about an hour or two from here so you might wanna rest up" Ichirou said calmly. (Y/N)'s eyelids started to feel heavy then the next thing the young teen saw was black.

Ichirou had now arrived at a certain females house but the lights were out "hm maybe she's asleep oh well Kai looks like we will have our fun tomorrow" he said. Just then he heard 6 footsteps head in his direction and looked at the door to see three little girls smiling at him "Oh hey girls!" He said smiling "Ichirou!" The three of them said running to him "Man you guys have grown since the last time I saw you's" he said putting his one free arm out for a hug which the three accepted "oh Naho,Sumi and Kiyo look who's here" he said then looked at his wolf who walked over to the girls. "Hi Kai!" The three said at the same time showing The teens pet affection "ah that's what they were excited about" A feminine voice said "long time no see Aoi" Ichirou said "It has been a while" she said then looked at the sleeping (Y/N) "does he need treatment?" She asked "yeah......" Ichirou said "alright come in" she said "girls you too" she said "okay but what about Kai?" They said at the same time "he can come in" Aoi said walking to the medical room. Once they got to the Medical Ichirou put the unconscious (Y/N) on the bed "I'll get shinobu to come check it out" Aoi said "hm I heard my name" a gentle voice said "shinobu Ichirou just brought this one in" Aoi said then walked out "So was he poisoned by a demon?" Shinobu asked "he got wounded if that can be a way to be poisoned" Ichirou said "Him alright" she said then took of Ichirou's make shift bandages "hmm was this always purple Ichirou?" Shinobu asked "no.." he said "alright I'll be done with him in 10 or so minutes" she said. Ichirou nodded then walked back out then went outside to see a certain grave and kneeled in front of it "Neechan life is so hard without you here it pains me everyday knowing that I couldn't do anything...." he said then stood up "but I'll avenge your death by killing any demon that threatens this estates people" he said then walked back inside the house. He walked in to see the three younger girls playing with Kai while Aoi was making dinner "hungry?" She said "no..." Ichirou said then his stomach rumbled "yeah I thought you were" she said teasingly "Ok fine you caught me" Ichirou laughed putting a hand behind his head while smiling. Ten minutes had passed and shinobu was in the dining room "oh my! you haven't had dinner here for a while haven't you Ichirou?" She said clapping her hands together "yeah reminds me of when we were young" Ichirou said. He then sighed "where are the girls?" Shinobu said "right here!" They all said standing by the door "what are you's hiding?" Shinobu said "nothing" They said giggling "Ichirou you have something to do with this don't you" she said knowing the white haired male was apart of their secret "Nope" he denied taking his mask off and putting it on the ground "close your eyes" he said "why?" Shinobu asked "just do it" the male said "fine..." she said and closed her eyes. Kanao who was watching the three girls and Ichirou get Kai to sit in front of Shinobu just smiled saying nothing at all "are you done Ichirou?" Shinobu said and got no response but a small nudge on her chin. This caused the female to open her eyes and see a wolf sitting in front of her "W-Who allowed this animal in my estate!" Shinobu said trying to get away from Kai "still afraid of animals with fur huh?" Ichirou teased "Ichirou!" Shinobu raised her voice at the white haired teen "Kai doesn't bite geez...." he said showing the wolf affection "who's a good boy" Ichirou said then looked at Shinobu who had tears in her eyes and sighed "Come here Shinobu" he said putting his hand out "it's fine he doesn't bite" he said trying to get her to come over. Shinobu didn't move at all "Never mind then..." he said then told Kai to go to the three girls and walked over to Shinobu hugging her and wiped her tears away
"Shhh it's okay" he said as an attempt to calm her which surprisingly worked after a while.
(After dinner)
Ichirou was sitting outside looking at the moon "you staying or are you gonna leave again...." a calm voice asked "Don't know yet" he said then turned around to see Shinobu "The girls want you too stay here and your room is still tidy" Shinobu said trying to con the teen to stay. Ichirou just sighed then looked at his kitsune mask "I see you still have Kanae's gift she got you" Shinobu said sitting down by Ichirou "Yeah..." he said remembering the person he saw as a big sister. Shinobu looked at the boys face to see bags under his eyes "you haven't been getting much sleep have you" She said then stood up "you need rest" she said "nah I'm good" he quickly said "that wasn't a option" she said then grabbed the back of his uniform and dragged him to his old room.

(Y/N) woke up in a room "ah your awake" a voice said (Y/N) looked over to see a female with blue eyes and two butterfly hair clips "where am I...?" Was the first thing (Y/N) "you are at the butterfly estate, you were brought here late last night" the female said "oh Ichirou where is he?" (Y/N) asked wondering where the white haired male was "he is sleeping as of now, I should probably wake him up...." the female said "I'll be back" she said then walked off. A minute later (Y/N) heard the female hell "WHY THE HELL IS SHINOBU IN THE SAME BED AS YOU ICHIROU?!?" This got (Y/N)'s attention so he followed the voice then saw the females voice to see her outside a room so he went the the same spot as the female to see Ichirou and a female with purple highlights looking like they just woke up "ohayo to you as well Aoi..." he said tiredly "Why was Shinobu in the same bed as you?!?" The female questioned "well  you see Aoi I was catching up with shinobu then I was told to sleep then dragged here forced to sleep but I couldn't then Shinobu here decided to stay until I did but then she ended up sleeping I did end up sleeping due to lack of sleep then that leads us here" he said. Ichirou then got up "You....um" Ichirou said pointing at (Y/N) "(Y/N)" the younger male said "right (Y/N) as you know this is Aoi...." he said sounding tired "and this here is my short Shinobu..." he said patting the girl with purple highlights head getting a smack from her "damn only been here for a night and everyone's already ganging up on me.....oh well looks like I'll leave" he said about to get up "wait I'm sorry!" Shinobu said "aww someone does miss me" he teased. (Y/N) stood there confused "so how did you come across this idiot?" Aoi said to (Y/N) talking about Ichirou "hey I heard that!" Ichirou said "well Ichirou saved me from a demon after it killed my family...." (Y/N) said then started to tear up. Ichirou then walked to (Y/N) "how about you learn how to kill them" he said......
