3rd Person POV

Over the course of about a week, the pain in their necks gradually headed, at first it was a bit concerning that it took so long to heal but they knew they were living peacefully at the moment with nothing to worry about.

Jisoo was happily reading his books while Jeonghan cleaned the rooms, they didn't really have a lot of things to do, but it was relaxing just to take a break and relax while they could. "I can't believe you lived like this for 2 years." Jeonghan huffed, "You're such a boring person, Jisoo." he said as he threw the cloth into the sink. Jisoo looked up at him, a "sorry~~" sort of expression settling on his features.

Jeonghan plopped down next to him, "What are you thinking about?" he asked, and Jisoo was much too aware of how high up Jeonghan placed his hand on his thigh, making it hard to concentrate on his answer when the little shit started tracing little circles around the area. "Just reading my book, Coco's been sleeping a lot lately haha." Jeonghan nodded, "Yeah he has, it's the perfect temperature to be sleeping and relaxing, especially if you're as bored as us." their lives had fallen into quite the boring routine of feeding Coco, walking him twice a day, and sort of just doing nothing much at all during the day.

"Are you interested in doing anything lately?" Jeonghan asked, sighing loudly, and Jisoo shook his head, wondering if he was catching on to what the older was implying.

The thought was confirmed in his mind once Jeonghan slipped his hand under the waistband of his old school basketball shorts, rubbing the soft skin of his hipbone. "Hannie, what're you doing?" He asked softly, trying not to react but he could hear the nervousness of his own voice. "Just trying to spice up the day..." He said softly, starting to kiss Jisoo's neck.

"S-Sorry.... I'm not in the mood." Jisoo grabbed Jeonghan's wrist trying to get him to stop before he went any further. "Jisoo?" Jeonghan asked, making direct eye contact with Jisoo, and he knew what he was going to ask before the words even left his mouth. "Why aren't you wearing any underwear?"

Jisoo didn't answer, prompting Jeonghan to move his hand even lower, and Jisoo tightened the grip on his wrist. "Jeonghan. Don't." Jeonghan pouted, "Why not?~~" Jisoo bit his lip, feeling Jeonghan's cold fingers snaking their way closer towards his sensitive member.

Jisoo quickly whacked Jeonghan with his book, "Yah, just leave me in peace!" Jeonghan decided it was a nice time to utilise Jisoo's vulnerability towards his aggressive pheromones. "Hey, Hannie!" Jisoo complained, shifting away from the older, "That's not fair!" he pouted. "You can't just do that whenever just to get what you want!" Jeonghan laughed. "I have the ability, I should be able to use it whenever I feel like."

Jisoo felt his body turning into jelly as Jeonghan pushed him down, that's what he felt was so dangerous about the older; Everyone's unconditional submission in his presence. He just assumed because he's never been around many other demons in his lifetime, he just never discovered his ability to control those pheromones until Jisoo turned.

Jeonghan kissed him deeply, making him blush as he held onto Jeonghan's shoulders. "Hannie... not now..." Jeonghan smiled, holding Jisoo down by his waist. "Just relax, you're going to like it."

Jisoo whined loudly, unable to resist as Jeonghan slipped a hand up his shirt, making him tremble slightly out of nervousness. "Come on, please baby, I'm so bored~~" Jeonghan pleaded, even though Jisoo wasn't even fighting back anyway. "I love how sensitive your body is." Jeonghan stated, pulling Jisoo's thin shorts down. He teased Jisoo's nipple before taking the sensitive bud into his mouth. "A-Ah, Hannie, if you're going to do it, just do it already, stop messing around." Jeonghan laughed. "Aww... but it's so fun to tease you like this."

They'd sort of just come to terms that their relationship extended further than just friendship very soon even though even before their first time, the feelings were still there.

"You're so mean." Jisoo complained, his breath hitching as Jeonghan started playing with his cock. Jisoo bit his lip, arching his back as the pleasure got to be a bit too much and not long after, he came.

Jeonghan smiled, "That was a beautiful show."

Jeonghan was right about to undo his pants when suddenly, Jisoo's phone started to ring. Their attentions both snapped to the vibrating device. Jeonghan let Jisoo get up, pulling his shorts back up as he ran over to the table to answer the call before it went to voicemail.

"Hello?"

Jisoo POV

After I ended the phone call, I looked over to Jeonghan, who was kind of just staring with a distant look in his eyes. "What is it?"

"Those were your parents, right?"

"Yeah"

"They want you to move back into their house? And they're coming to visit first?" I nod, knowing that he heard the entire call anyway.

I was nervous, it had been years since I'd even been in contact with any of them. The last time I lived with them, I was never happy with them, which is why I moved away with the help of Seokmin's family the first chance I got.

I think he was thinking of his own parents, and I remembered the story he told me,  and how they died, how he held his mother before killing the hermit who caused all the trouble. The whole story still hurt my heart whenever I thought about it.

"How do you feel about that? You're not close with them at all. You're literally an 18-year-old kid who has such a bad relationship with your parents you don't ever make an attempt to talk to them." I nodded. "I know. I don't want to see them but they're my parents."

Jeonghan put his arm around me, "Hey, you don't owe them anything. Sure they brought you into this world, but it wasn't your choice. Blood of the covenant is thicker than water of the womb." Basically, he was saying that relationships formed by choice are stronger than the ones you're forced into by birth. Personally, I agree but I know my parents don't and they'll have their mind set on seeing me.

Then I realised that now that I'm a demon, I won't see them in the afterlife, I don't actually know when will be the last time I see them, should I take this opportunity, or should I let our relationship wither and disintegrate in silence? At least Jeonghan had an opportunity to say goodbye to his mother.

I'll think about what to do, but I only have about a week and a half's time to decide.
