Chapter-2

Shanaya's P.O.V

Finally after a tiresome journey I reached India at 4 am. I thanked my pilot Liam and air hostess Alisha for the journey and stepped out of my jet. The air hit my face and I felt refreshed after sitting in my jet for hours.

I moved towards the exit and saw my driver waiting for me. He opened the door of my car which is Bugatti Centodieci. I would have drive myself but I was jet lag so I allowed my driver to drive.

On the way I called my P.A Tanya who looks after the branch of India and informed her about the visit tomorrow. As soon as I finished my call the driver informed that we reached. I opened the door and went inside my penthouse. The head of the maid Anita aunty greeted me and said " Beta it's so nice to see you after so long" with a bright smile. I smiled at her and said "It feels good to be here ". " Shall I bring something for you" she asked. " No aunty I will take a nap as I am jet lag so you can go to your house" I replied. She nodded and closed the main door and went .

I went inside my room which was black and white just the way I like.

One side of the room was covered with glass through which I can see the whole Mumbai city. I went towards the glass and watched the streets which was empty at the moment but after sometime it will start bustling.

I went towards my washroom and had a good shower and changed into comfortable clothes and went to bed to get some sleep as after few hours I am going to meet them with this thought I felt asleep.

After few hours

I woke up at 8 am feeling freshed and went to washroom to get fresh and then went to my walk in closet .

I got ready in a grey blouse with a black tight leggings and white blazer
and white sneakers with minimal accessories and a side sling bag and kept my hair open and kept my makeup simple with nude lipstick and some eyeliner as you can see I am not a big fan of makeup.

I went downstairs and saw my breakfast is kept on the table. I sat at the table and started having my breakfast which consisted of aloo paratha with curd and it was delicious . After a long time I had such tasty food. "Good morning Aunty. The breakfast was delicious you truly have magic in your hands." I said to aunty while she gave me a glass of juice." I am glad that you liked my food" she smiled and replied. "I didn't liked it. I loved it. Ok bye aunty I need to leave now and don't prepare my dinner." I replied looking at my watch which showed it was 8:35.

I walked out of the house as I have meeting at 9 am with lovely people.
(Note the sarcasm). I went towards my Bugatti Centodieci and sat inside and drove to Malhotra & Son.

I reached their at 8:55 and saw my P.A already waiting for me. I went inside the building with Tanya following behind me. The girl at the reception stood up and asked "Ma'am how can I help you?". I looked at her tag where her name was written which was Tina and asked "Where is your CEO's cabin?". "Ma'am do you have an appointment?" She enquired . I was getting irritated with all her enquires though I know she was doing her job.
I looked at Tanya and nodded my head towards her and she got my sign.

I walked directly towards the elevator and as the elevator's door opened Maya was beside me and she said it's on 40th floor and we went inside.

We reached on the desired floor and saw there were 4 cabins. I went towards the middle one where the nameplate said Mr. Anand Malhotra in golden colour. I pushed the glass door and went inside the cabin.

My eyes felt on the person sitting in front of me who was staring at me and we had a staring competition for whole min and then a smile came in my face as well as in the person's face.

I ordered my P.A to wait outside. I walked towards the person and he pulled me in his warm embrace and the pine scent of his deodorant hit my face and I felt at home.

I pulled out of his embrace and looked at him with some traitor tear choose that exact moment to slide down.
"Pa! I missed you" I said to him and again hugged him tightly.
"I missed you too my princess" He said lovingly while patting my head and kissing my forehead as this was his way of blessing me.
