Chapter-3

Shanaya's P.O.V

After our small happy moment Pa told me to take a seat while he had some work to finish. I took that moment to observe the office it was big and spacious with modern interior but a little smaller than my office and all the things were in their place just as my Pa likes it.

One wall was covered with glass which shows you the whole city. After observing the room I let my eyes observe the person sitting in front of me. The one who is my mentor in the business world , my guidance in the journey of life , my strength , my solace , my adviser in short he is everything to me and I can go to any extent for him.

I look at his face intently and can see that his forehead is furrowed which he does only when something is bothering him from a long time. He felt my gaze and looked at me with an raised eyebrow asking me "What?". I bought his palm and kept it in my hands and asked him softly " What is bothering you?" . He shooked his head and said " Nothing" . "So now you gonna lie to your princess?" I asked. " No I am not lying" He replied. "Grandpa" I said sternly to him by looking at his eyes. He sighed as he knows that I call him Grandpa only when I want to know something so he finally said " Someone is stealing company's money but we don't know who and why". " Why don't you hire a private investigator?? " I asked him. " We have hired but even he can't find the person as the linked is secured with high security and he can't access it as it will alert the person" he said. " So this is the issue don't worry I will look into it and handle the matter personally" I said him. " Thank you so much princess " he said by placing his other hand over mine.

I was going to say him something but  somebody knocked on his door and I withdrew my hands and sat straight in my place. Pa ordered the person to come in and it was his P.A who informed him that Mr Shah and his son has come to meet him. Listening to the person's name a smirk appeared on both mine and grandpa's face and grandpa asked him to send them inside.

Mr Shah and his son Akhil Shah came inside and grandpa greeted them and asked them to take a sit. As soon as both father and son saw me their was were different expression on both the faces. Mr Shah held a look of confusion whereas his son had a smile with a  shine in his eyes and I know why while smirking in my mind because trust me his smile will be gone soon and he won't understand what hit him.

"Mr Shah! It's a pleasure to meet you" I said to Mr Shah while extending my hand for a handshake. " Same here. If you don't mind me asking Who might you be? " He said while shaking hands with me. Before I could even aswer his son beat me to it and said " Dad she is Shanaya and I know her" Akhil said to his dad and look at me to confirm I just nod towards him.

"Let's get to business". I said to them.
" We should move towards the conference room " Pa said . We all agreed and moved out of Grandpa's office and went towards the conference room. I signalled my P.A to follow me and she gave me a nod.

While we were moving towards the room I got a call so I excused myself and asked others to move towards the room and I shall join them soon.
After attending my call I entered the room.

I saw that other than Grandpa and Mr Shah and his son there were five more people that have joined and they were shocked to see me and well about me I was neither happy so I kept my face blank and acknowledged them with just a nod as I took my place beside Grandpa and I could feel the five person staring at me but I didnt react as I don't want them to know that I am aware of their stares and waited for the meeting to began while only one thought ran on my mind.

"This meeting is going to be so much more interesting now"
A smile appeared on my face more like evil smile.
