It's finally the day. It's here. What we've been practicing for for a year and a bit. I'm handed a microphone that I hold in my shaking hands. I'm the fifth person to go for the first set of the Voice auditions. Zaine went first and sang "Stay" by Florida Georgia Line. He got two chairs turned and chose Adam. I get on the stage and start singing. I'm singing ''No Hurry'' by Zac Brown Band. I got three chairs turned. Blake was standing up and Adam was on top of his chair. Pharell was sitting down. ''What's your name?'' Pharell asks. ''Mackynzi but I prefer Mack,'' I respond. ''How old are you Mack?" "15" "15!?!?" "Yea," I say nervously. "My turn," Adam pipes up. "Do you perform on stage a lot because that was one of the best, like my in my top 5 favourite performances on that stage," "Uh, no actually this is the first time I've performed on the stage actually," " No way. Really?" "Yea" " Blake, you look like your dieing to say something," Adam says " Yea," Blake says. "Ok, I'll keep talking then," Adam says. " NO" Blake says. "Mack, it was like Eric Church and Zac Brown had a kid and you were the result,'' '' Wow, thanks,'' ''I'm not done,'' ''Ok,'' ''Who are your three favourite country singers'' ''Willie Nelson, George Strait, and Luke Bryan,'' '' Awesome. Well, Mack who is going be your coach?'' ''Uh um Blake,'' I say. ''Yes!'' Blake says. As I walk down the stairs Blake gives me a hug. Wow he's tall. Adam looks sad and Pharell, well, he looks better than Adam does at this moment. I get backstage and am greeted with a huge hug from Zaine. ''I knew you could do it. Oh and I am so gonna beat you,'' he says before Mr.Yerks comes up and says ''Well you two you guys were the best students I ever had. I'm gonna miss you. I'll come to as many shows as I can. I know you're both gonna make it. Good luck,'' then walks away. Wow, this is just awesome. We get outside and I hear, '' Mackynzi...''
