There was a silence in the room.
Snow wasn’t very good with meeting new people.
And it was just too awkward for Britney.
“Umm… Where can I put my clothes?” Asked Snow and the silence went away.
“I cleared a few shelves in the closet. Sorry if there’s isn’t enough space.” Replied Britney.
Snow opened the closet. It was quite big. It had plenty of shelves, a hanging pole and six drawers.
“I’m sorry, but can you please put some music on? It helps me concentrate” Asked Snow politely.
“Yeah sure! I know that I already have a CD on my laptop. Let me just turn it on.” She replied.
Britney turned the music on and it played Little Things by One Direction.
“One Direction? Really?” Said Snow with a confused tone.
Britney stopped the music. “I went to a date last night… And after that we went here… And she’s not really into rock music…” Said Britney, she sounded embarrassed.
“Oh, You are…” Snow Started saying.
“Gay? Lesbian? Taken? All of the them are correct” Britney continued Snow’s sentence.
Britney was very feminine. Most Lesbians Snow knew were very manly.
Snow sat on her bed.
“So… How was it?” Asked Snow.
“Kissing a girl? it’s actually pretty good.” Britney answered.
“I know it’s good” Snow giggled “I meant… How was the date?”. Fuck, Snow! Why you didn’t ask her what you really wanted! Snow thought to herself.
“It was good. My 4th date with her. I really like her… I hope that she feels the same way…”
Okay Snow… Just Ask it! it’s not that har- “How was it to come out?” Thank god! I thought you'd never ask that!
Snow was very lonely in her childhood, her best friend was… Well… Her mind.
“Wait… Are you in the closet?” Britney was quite shocked.
“No… Yes… No… I don’t know…” Snow’s mind was a mess.
Britney took her chair and sat in front of Snow’s bed.
“Well… Let me make it easier for you… Are you attracted to men?” Asked Britney.
“If they’re attractive, I guess I am”
“Have you ever had any lesbian situations?”
“I kissed a few girls, also made out with some of them… So, yeah”
“When have you felt better? With girls or boys”
“Umm… I never really kissed any boys…”
“What?! I mean like, even I kissed boys! And I know I’m gay since I was 8! And look at yourself! You’re beautiful!”
“Well… I was at a… boarding school since I was 11. Girls only… And Thank?”
“Oh… Umm… Sorry?”
“It’s okay… You didn’t know…”
“Listen… Now you’re here, with boys. So it’ll probably be easier for you to know if you’re gay… Or not…”
“Yeah… I guess…”
“And if you’ll understand that you’re gay and me and my girl will breakup… I’m here for you”
Snow laughed. “Thank Britney. Guess It’s a beginning of a new friendship!”
“Guess it is!”
The girls stood up and hugged each other.
“Now… Can you please help me organize the closet?”
