Namjoon

My eyes fluttered open slowly as I tried to adjust to the living room lights.

"She's awake," Seokjin said as I opened my eyes. I looked to my right and saw Amy tied up, to my left Woozi tied up, and in front of me was all of Bangtan plus Yoomin who looked like he had cried earlier. My heart softened at how helpless Yoomin looked, like a puppy forced to stay by his owner's side.

"I heard you had a deal for me," Namjoon started as he looked at me from the couch. Woozi and Amy were still unconscious so I have to tread carefully. I cleared my throat before starting.

"Let's make this clear," I started. "I hate you." Namjoon chuckled darkly, Jungkook looked at me with worried eyes, and Yoomin hung his head low.

"Is that all?" he asked before sitting back comfortably.

"I care about Yoomin ever since he came to Amy and me," I started again. Namjoon gritted his teeth; his jaw tightened.

"Care about Yoomin?" he said slowly as his head was lowered and he sat up again. "Yoomin is a part of my family, not yours." My eyes darkened.

"Yoomin is still a child! He isn't ready to be a part of all the murderous things that your so-called family does," I argued. "He needs to be nurtured, not put to work like a slave. You know he still has a soul unlike you," I spat. Namjoon relaxed his jaw and looked up just to smirk at me.

"What am I supposed to do then? Am I supposed to let down my guard? Or maybe you would like to explain what happens when someone lets their guard down?" He challenged me.

"You become stronger," I mumbled.

"What?" he asked angrily.

"YOU BECOME STRONGER!" I yelled at him in anguish. I breathed heavily. "Don't you see Namjoon? You already let your guard down by trusting these 6 men at your side. By accepting Yoomin, you have to drop it lower. I know it's hard to let someone in, but once you let someone trustworthy in, it can make you stronger," I told him. He chuckled.

"Stronger? My parents made the biggest mistake. Me. If they hadn't had me then they would still be alive, but look where it got them. Dead," he said darkly.

"Namjoon, they loved you! They sacrificed themselves because they love you! If you keep on pushing everyone out, very soon you'll feel regret wash over you!" I yelled.

"HOW DO YOU KNOW?!" He rumbled at me as he stood up from the couch. I closed my eyes from his change in tone. "If they had loved me, then they wouldn't have left me in the first place," he said as tears rolled down his face. It was the first time anyone had seen him actually cry that just heard him silently cry in his room. Yoomin dashed to Namjoon and held onto his leg, giving him a hug. My eyes widened as did everyone else's, but especially Namjoon's.

"Namjoon hyung, I love you," he said as he clutched Namjoon's leg. Time froze as I watched Namjoon's expression change. He looked as if all his emotions were coming back to him. As if he was finally going to let someone in. Yoomin was that someone.

"I-I," Namjoon stuttered.

"Hyung, please let them go. I really do love you. I thought... I thought you didn't care about me and that I was a burden so I ran off, but I now know that you care," Yoomin said with glistening eyes as he looked up at Namjoon. Namjoon had tears streaming down his cheek as he kneeled to Yoomin's height.

"Yoomin," Namjoon said gently as he put a hand on his head. "Family is never a burden. When we found you outside the orphanage alone, I felt something. I felt like you might be the one to take over my position when I'm gone. I'm sorry that I was so cold-hearted towards you," Namjoon said as he looked down. Yoomin burst into tears and threw himself into Namjoon's arms. Everyone had tears in their eyes, even stone-cold Yoongi was getting emotional.

"Will you listen to Crystal Noona, now?" Yoomin said as he stepped back from the hug. Namjoon wiped his tears and nodded.

"Anything for you, Yoomin," he said as he took Yoomin's hand in his and turned back to me.
