It's been about weeks since d-day and it's been awhile since we got a break since then. I've always been partnered with daniels on like every mission that we have. Not that it's a problem just that it's always kind of awkward between us sometimes. I mean I have developed a little crush on him over the few weeks that I lived. I snapped out of my thoughts as I finished my food that I was eating in the early morning and I went to my tent. I remembered that I had a little piano that I had brought to the war just in case anyone wanted to hear music why they still lived. I decided to play the song dance monkey (just pretend this song existed back then okay?) I got the sheet out, yes I brought the sheets with me I put it down and I sat down crossed legged and I began to play and sing.

I kept singing that I got lost in the moment and I didn't hear the footsteps behind me. I kept singing until I heard a voice "you have a great voice y/n." I turned around shocked that someone even heard me and it was daniels "oh thanks I guess how'd you hear me I wasn't singing that loud was I?!" I exclaimed scared that everybody else heard me. "No I was just passing by to see how you were doin' so I heard ya singing so I decided to let you know." He said while smiling. "Do you know the song?" I asked curiously "ya I do its a popular song in Texas well I mean you should know that your from Texas." He said "yeah I do it's my favorite song right now." I replied "do you know the full song daniels?" I asked hoping he would say a positive answer. "Yah I do want to sing it together? " He asked and I was shocked but of course I replied saying "Yes of course I would love too!!" I exclaimed happily and we both sat next to each other and I blushed and daniels had a soft pink on his cheeks and he helped me play the piano. "I didn't know you played the piano?" I said "yah I play my brother Paul would teach me a lot of things when I was younger and I still remember some of them." he said and we sang away for the rest of our day.
