This is on the first mission which is D-day. So yeah! Anyway I hope you enjoy it.

Y/n's p.o.v.)

This is it, we're back at war that is of course. This wasn't the first time I'm at war, I've been at war before. I fought at Kasserine, along with Aiello, Turner, and.....Pierson. God..I like Pierson ever since we met at basic training. He has been my best friend ever since! He is really nicer than the rest of the soldiers in my platoon, such as Zussman, and Aiello. Anyway I was happy to see Pierson again I haven't seen him after Kasserine, so I was excited, really excited. As I changed and put my hair into a bun I put my uniform on and boots and walked out to look for Pierson. I heard him talking to Zussman and Daniels. I walked over there and his back was facing me. He was strictly telling the boys or more like asking what the hell they were doing. I went up behind him and stood next to him until he noticed. "Watch your lip Zussman" he said and I got impatient so I said, "Give 'Em a break Will, It's there first time being at war am I right Zussman and Daniels?" I finished and they nodded and Pierson looked at me "Y/n? Is that really you?" he asked "The one and only." I said and smiled he quickly hugged me and I almost literally fell back. "Woah, You that excited Piers?" I said and he laughed and that made my heart melt. "Of course! Haven't seen you since Kasserine!" he said, "Okay well, take it easy on my platoon will you?" I said, "ugh fine, just because you're my best friend. On me" He said and I smiled and he smiled back at me as he left. I hugged myself and jumped in circles, forgetting my audience Zussman and Daniels. I finally stopped until I noticed them staring at me weirdly "Oh uh sorry 'bout that. Anyway names Y/n L/n Call me Y/n if you want." I said holding my hand for them to shake on which they did. "Nice meeting you Y/n, Glad you have our backs in this platoon to save us from Pierson." Zussman said and winked at me "Same here Y/n." Daniels said "Ight we should get going then ay?" I said and walked with them.

y/n's p.o.v. still)

As we were on the Landing Craft, I was moving forward and backwards because of how rough the waters were. I was standing next to Pierson and then I went forward and bumped into a solider and I immediately said sorry "I'm so sorry!" I said and was shocked to see who it was when they turned around. It was Turner! "Turner?!" I said and he looked at me and smiled and I smiled "Nice to see you again Y/n." He said, "You too." He then turned around and I smiled to myself. I went back to moving forward and back, I then fell backwards but felt a pair of arms catch me. "You okay their Y/n?" Pierson said as he helped me stand up "I'm not okay, I keep moving with the waves...."I said embarrassed and he laughed and he held his arm out to me to hold onto which I gladly took. "Thanks, Will." I said "Of course anything for my best friend." he said and I kissed his cheek and I swore I saw Pierson blush.

Anyway, time skip to clearing the bunkers because I forget what happens after that lol/////

We cleared 4 bunkers and we need 1 more to go, I got paired with Daniels to clear it. "Throwing out a grenade!" Daniels yelled and it exploded which killed the krauts on the bottom expect top. I killed the ones on top and said "Clear!" and Daniels went inside but a nazi had his gun on him. He threw him and I got on top and punched him and I was gonna punch him again but he stabbed me and I yelled in pain and fell and he took the knife out of me. I heard Daniels fighting him and then I heard nothing and I was scared until Daniels came to me. "Holy shit." he said "I can walk a little, help me up," I said and he helped me up. We walked all the way to the medic but dealt with some nazis when we got to the ccp station I instantly collapsed "MEDIC! I need a medic!!" Daniels yelled then Pierson came running over. "Y/n! Are you you okay?! Holy shit!" He said and he yelled for a medic and then a medic came running to me and helped me out "He'll take care of her Pierson, I need you on this mission." Turner said but before he left he said something to me and my heart exploded "I love you Y/n, ever since basic training. I always will and I'll be back to see how you doin." He said that and I kissed him and he kissed back and left for his mission Daniels staying to tell me quickly. "What you did back there, I owe you." He said "I say we're even. Now go take the beach with my boyfriend." I said and he gave me a quick smile and ran off to finish the mission. And so me and Pierson are forever together. Forever
