Ein's P.O.V

Beep beep beep.

I slowly opened my eyes, hearing my alarm go off. I usually didn't set an alarm, but I wanted to get up a little early today. I turned it off and sat up in bed, I did some sorta shake and rubbed my eyes. I got up and went over to my bathroom.
I looked like a mess.

My ears/hair was all fluffy and tangled, as well as my tail. And I looked really tired. I washed my face and stared at my self. I looked at all the details. The two scars on my face, one on my left cheek, and the other the right side of my nose. My gray eyes, the like, 6 freckles I had.
I then looked at my hair...

It was black mixed with a natural gray. My newly done dyed hair, I smiled at that part. My black wolf ears, that moved ever now and then.
I looked at my tail. It gently swayed behind me...

I look at my eyes again, and smiled.

I took my brush and tryed to manage the mess on top of my head.
"Come on.... Just... Untangle!" I said to myself.

After what seemed like forever in 5 minutes, I finished. It wasn't perfect, but it looked okay. Going back into my room, I got changed and did my tie.
I didn't really like the uniforms, as I said before. I went over to my desk and got my piercings, putting them in.
I carefully walked/snuck out of my room and into the kitchen.

It seemed both Mom and Aphmau were still sleep or just waking up.
I went over to the pantry and looked for something to eat, I eventually found some sorta energy bar and decided to eat that, I wasn't too hungry anyways. Never was in the mornings.

"Hey Ein, what's for breakfast?" Someone asked from behind me. I turned around to see Aph.
"Uh. I-I don't know, j-just whatever I g-guess. Heh..." I trailed off.
She shrugged her shoulders and looked around the kitchen for something to eat.

I had finished and walked over to the front door to get my shoes.
I slipped them on, they were just black shoes the school made us wear.
I tied the shoe laces and sat up straight.

"Good morning Mija, Mijo. Sleep well?" Mom asked, walking down the stairs. I nodded. Though Aph went on about how she didn't sleep well, I just kinda spaced off... Until a tap on my shoulder broke me from thought.
It was Aph, with a big smile...

I weakly smiled back and opened the door. We both walked out and started our way to school. We stayed silent for the most part. Until we met up with that Travis guy... They both started to talk with each other.
I quietly walked behind them.

I wasn't upset anymore, and I even thought I was stupid to be upset in the first place. I just didn't know him, and I didn't really want to, to be honest.
It would be good for the both of us to have some different friends.
Heathly even. We're too close.
I laughed quietly at myself.

As we got closer, I got kinda exsited to see Zane and Kai. I don't think they knew each other, but I think they don't have any classes together.

"H-hey! Ein!" A, very stuffy, voice yelled from my left.
It was Zane, he was waving and walking over.

"Hey Zane!" I said, and stoped walking with Aph. She gave me a smile and went to go fall for more guys or something. I don't know...

"So... Wanna, uh, hang out before school?" Zane asked.
"Sure!" I said, my tail kinda waging
Behind me. We went over to a corner and waited.

"So, video games huh?" I asked.
He had been telling me about this game he played for most of the night.
"Yes, I like them. Got a problem?" He asked, leaning towards me.

"Nope! I think they are fine. Everyone's got things they like."
I smiled.

He looked up at my hair all of the sudden. Kinda just staring. He moved one of his hands/one finger and poked my hair. "Did you dye this?..." He asked. "Oh, right, that" I said.

"Yeah, I did. Well, I re-dyed it. What do you think?" I looked at him.
He pulled his hand back and sat back normal. "I guess its cool, does the school know?" He looked forwards.

"Uh. No... Hopfully it won't matter." I said and looked at my feet, they moved back and forth. Just randomly.
Suddenly the bell rang, saying it was time for school. We parted ways and went to our home rooms.
This was the class I had with Kai.
Heh... Kai...

I felt a blush appear on my face.
Weird... I shook my head a little and went to my seat. I sat down at my desk and just awkwardly starred at random things. The white board, students walking in, my hands, my pencil.
Where was Kai?...

Maybe, he's sick?... Or... Maybe I understood him wrong... Maybe he didn't want to talk to me, and just was bored... Or he realized how weird I was....

I kept thinking about him, when all of the sudden, I felt a hand grab my shoulder and someone said something. It scared me and I jumped.
"Wh- AGHH!" I yelled. I ended up falling out of my seat.
I slightly panicked... I had to remind myself I was okay. I wasn't still there. I was safe now...

"Pfft- Hahaha!!!" The person laughed.
I recognized the laugh. I let out a sigh and got back up. "Not. Funny." I said.
Kai was laughing to hard to hear me though. I crossed my arms and sat down again. "That *laugh* was Haha- amazing!!" He said, he started to hold his stumick, he was laughing so much.

I pouted and hid in my arms.
I wantrd to die! I can't believe I screamed like that! Ugh!

"You- *laugh* -screamed like a- *giggle*-a two year old!!" Kai said through his laughter.
I mumbled and groaned.

"That wasn't fair, or funny..." I said, but it was muffled by my jacket/shirt.
After a few minutes he calmed down, he sat in front of me again, but I still hid in my hands. "Come on, you gotta admit, that was funny Ein" he said.

I groaned again and looked up slightly, he could only just see my eyes. He giggled and gave me a smirk.
I blushed again and went back to hiding. Is he trying to kill me?!
"Come on, Ein, that's what friends do, they scare each other!"

"I don't know what friends you have had. I don't think that was funny!" I said, but again, it was muffled.

Wait...

"We are friends?..." I asked, looking up. He gave me a confused smile, and chuckled. "Um, yeah? Do you not want to be?" He asked, he put his right hand on his neck and looked nervous all of the sudden. I decided it was payback time.

I sat up and gave him the same smirk he gave me. "Oh, I don't know..."
He narrowed his eyes at me and crossed his arms.
"Not funny..."

It was my turn to laugh.
