Outside in the car, mom was crying while dad lectured me. I guess he never got tired of it. Apparently it was "his job." It's not like I didn't learn the hard way. "If you find something on the ground or in the woods, don't touch, eat, or drink it. Do you understand?" I rolled my eyes. "Yeah, I guess." Annoyed, dad told me there is no "I guess" it's only yes or no. How annoying can he be? Mom finally stopped crying, and joined in with dad and started lecturing me. "Do you know how much danger you could have been in?" I didn't get a chance to answer. "A lot. Okay? You need be more responsible. We can't risk you doing this again. So until you learn to be more responsible, your stuck in the house besides school. Other than that, good luck entertaining yourself." I couldn't believe my ears. I was stuck in the house. It's bad enough school is boring. Now I got to stay in the house. "Grandpa will be picking you up from school until then." I was okay with that. Grandpa was okay. Dad started the car, and we drove home in silence. At home I went up to my room and started playing my Xbox. I was playing Minecraft. It's actually pretty fun. In Minecraft you build tunnels and houses. You can also destroy things to use to build houses and other structures. I'm always helping around the house, doing the laundry and other chores. I even do the dishes and take out the trash. That's another thing. I need mom or dad to come with me when I take out the trash. How embarrassing! Anyways, they couldn't be serious, could they? "Your going to have to learn sometime." Mom said interrupting my thoughts. Her and dad were standing by the stairs in my room. Shaking his head Dad told me I was going to have to do something really responsible to be able to leave the house and hang out with my friends. Again, another thing, I can't hang out with my friends. I can only call them. Mom said her or dad will have to supervise my calls. I guess I was on lock down. I really messed up, didn't I? When your parents keep bringing it up and lecturing you, that's when you know you messed up.
