"That bastard isn't getting away with this", Jim thought while walking down the hall.
He knew the band was already here, knowing him, he guessed that Jimmy wanted to be there early to "practice".

Jimmy was having a pretty good practice when someone knocked on the door.
He recognised the knock pattern.
It couln't be.
But there it was again, three knocks, pause, two knocks.

"I'll get it", he said quickly
He opened the door, making sure that his bandmates were all distracted and looked at the man standing right outside.
"The fuck are you doing here?!", he hissed.
"Relax, I need to talk to you, can you slip out?", the other, slightly less popular Jim said through the door.
"I need to tell them, Jim", he answered.
"Ok, tell them, but make something up, I don't want them to know I was here",  Jim said and closed the door.

It seemed like hours before Jimmy came out of the room.
"How long does it take you to come up with something, Page? Aren't you a songwriter?", Jim teased.
Jimmy just rolled his eyes.
They walked down to a deserted part of the corridor, and as soon as they knew they were alone Jimmy let out what he was thinking.

"Do you think this is normal?! Not talking to me for months and then randomly knocking on my door asking to talk to me! What if Robert or Bonzo opened the door? Why-", Jimmy was interrupted by a very calm Jim.

"You came out with me, didn't you?", Jim said calmly, then smiled because Jimmy had shut up.

"We can't work together", Jim said after a few seconds of silence.
"Think I don't know?", Jimmy sighed.
"Do something, you're the lead guitarist, they're nothing without you!", Jim hissed.

"Is that supposed to be a compliment?", teased Jimmy.
"Take it as you want, but do something. We might talk later", Jim said, shifting from his leaning position on the wall and walking away.

Jimmy's bandmates were back stage.Robert and Jp were talking to one of the sound engineers and him and Bonzo were sitting on the amplifiers. Jimmy picked up his guitar to tune it.

"Jimmy?", Bonzo slowly said. "Hmm", Jimmy hummed not looking up from his guitar.
"What happened between you and Morrison?", Bonzo whispered. Jimmy looked up quickly, not at Bonzo but around them to make sure that no one was listening.

"He did me a favor at a party once, t'sall", he said quickly, not wanting the conversation to go on.
Bonzo nodded, knowing his friend's answer wasn't totally the truth.

Jim thought that Jimmy had done an excellent job avoiding his eyes during the show. Especially since he was sitting in the front row. He didn't know how good he was goimg to be at that as he got ready to go on stage.

The crowd went wild when he walked on. He smiled, knowing he made the right choice wearing leather pants. He gripped the mic as the starting notes for "People are Strange", played from behind him.

The whole time he was singing he could feel Jimmy's stare on him but he kept a straight face during it. As he finished the song, screams of "Do Light My Fire!", reached him from the audience. "Ight, you fuckers, we're not doing Light my Fire!", he yelled into the mic.

The boos started and as they got louder he stood with his arms stretched out on either side of him, listening to every single one.
"You came here to watch us today so don't complain", he screamed into the mic.

"We came here for Jimmy!", shouted someone from the audience.
Words didn't usually hurt Jim Morrison but anyone who knew him well enough would know those words did.

He turned around and picked a bottle of water ignoring the multiple whispers of "Jim, stop it", coming from his bandmates. He walked up to the very tip of the stage, bottle in hand, and started throwing water at the audience, which threw some back at him.

Jim gave the audience a middle finger before knocking over the mic and walking off stage. He didn't care that he had left John, Robbie and Ray on stage, he just wanted to leave.

Times like these were the reason  Jimmy hated having anything to do with Jim Morrison. He sat with his bandmates in silence and he could tell they were all staring at him.

"I can't take this", he said, standing up.
He knew he was probably the only person in the building that could deal with Jim right now and he needed to find him. Robert gave Jimmy a reassuring glance as he walked out the door.

He found Jim in an empty storage room holding a bottle of beer.
"Hey", said Jimmy quietly.
"I don't wanna talk about it if that's what you want", Jim answered.
Jimmy nodded and sat down beside Jim.
"Hungry?", he askef.
Jim nodded.
"C'mon, I'll buy you lunch", said Jimmy, helping him up.
