Newbie Coach (Haikyuu x Reader)

13. Pre-camp

Atsumi Seshi's POV:

After breakfast I walked to the garage, where my car was. I brought out two empty boxes, an empty bag, a vacuum, a bucket full of water, and a towel. I decided to clean up my car because I will be away for a week, so might as well clean up the place. I unlocked my car, I started emptying everything inside, sectioning them into trash, things I need in the car, and things I don't need in the car. It took me roughly half an hour to an hour to clean the seats, vacuuming every edge the car had. I finally went to the trunk of the car. I piled all the shoes on the side of the car, and put all the stray volleyballs into a ball bag. I started vacuuming the trunk and placed all the shoes back into the spot they were earlier. I think there were a total of 6 pairs of shoes in the back. I put back the ball bag, containing 5 volleyballs. I then walked out, throwing the trash bag in the trash can.

I went back upstairs to pack for the trip. I grabbed my suitcase and walked over to my closet, standing there for 5 minutes just zoning out. I snapped back into reality when I heard a text, from my phone on the bed. I walked over, laying on my stomach.

Shimi Shimi koko bop: I will be staying at my house, since it is nearby the training camp. Would you like to stay over?

Me: No it's fine, if I leave the guys on their own, who knows how late they would be staying up til. HAHAHA. Thank you for the offer though.

Shimi Shimi koko bop: Of course, if you need anything, or forget anything I would be just a few blocks away.

Me: okayy, thank you Shimizu!

I walked back to my drawer, grabbing 2 pairs of dolphin shorts and 2 pairs of spandex for nightwear. I then grabbed a pair of sweatpants/joggers, a pair of leggings, a pair of capris. I tossed them onto my bed. I went over to my closet and grabbed 6 sports bras. I decided to bring a lot because I'm pretty sure in order to make the guys work hard, I must work hard with them. Also I didn't want to rewear sweaty sports bras, because HYGIENE. I didn't want to bring so much, so I was going to plan on washing my clothes at Shimizu's place. I also grabbed 3 muscle tees, and 2 t-shirts. I grabbed 7 pairs of socks and placed them on my bed. I opened my suitcase and folded my pants and placed them in a pile in the suitcase. I then folded my shorts on top of the pants section. I folded my t-shirts and placed then into a pile on the right of the pants, and folded my tanks over them. I then folded my bras and my socks on the 'tops' pile.

I walked over to the restroom and grabbed 2 extra towels. One for shower and one to wipe my sweat. I then grabbed extra hair ties and put them inside a pouch. I then grabbed a travel sized shampoo-conditioner. I then grabbed a travel sized lotion and perfume. I also packed a travel tube of toothpaste, toothbrush, and a face towel. I then remembered that I didn't pack any sweaters, so I took out two sweatshirts and shoved them into my suitcase. Keeping my suitcase open, I decided to put a pair of sandals and volleyball shoes. I then grabbed a duffel and put food inside, because I know that I'm going to get hungry in the middle of the night. I grabbed a few bags or gummies, chips, and a few packs of yogurt drinks. I zipped up my suitcase and walked into the kitchen. I made myself toast for breakfast. I grabbed my backpack and packed my tablet, laptop, chargers, a portable, clip-white-board, and markers. I had room inside the bag, so I just added a few first aid materials. I grabbed my reusable water bottle and filled it with ice water. I placed my bags and my suitcase next to the door. I quickly texted Shimizu.

Me: You don't think we would need to bring a ball bag right?

Shimizu responded right away.

Shimi Shimi koko bop: No, everything we would need should be given at the training camp.

Me: You have the first aid kit?

Shimi Shimi koko bop: Already ahead of you.

I then grabbed my keys and turned off all the lights, making sure to turn off the stove. I left the house with my suitcase and bags. I decided to walk to school because I didn't want to leave my car at school for a week. Before I arrived on campus, I dialed Ittetsu.
